"Ya Kim Taehyung! Who gave you the permission to hook your arms around my neck?" I struggled to wiggle out but he just pulled us in even closer.

"Can't you see we're walking beside a road?" He commented.

"But that doesn't give you the right to... Ya!!" Before I finished my sentence, he turned us in to a corner of the street.

"KIM. TAE. HYUNG!" I shouted as I used all of my strength and swung him away.

"Ah wae?!" He shouted back in annoyance.

"This isn't the way back to school! Where are you bringing me to?" I demanded an answer.

He seemed flustered as he looked around the surrounding; scratching the back of his head at the same time. "W-well..."

I huffed and turned back to the original direction, "I'm leaving." I declared and started to walk off. However, Taehyung gripped my wrist and stopped me from leaving.

"Follow me." He instructed without even giving a chance to reject as he pulled me towards the path.

We walked past a few houses and peculiarly, the path seemed very familiar to me. It was as if I had been here a long time ago. Taehyung and I walked further down the road for a good twenty minutes and we stopped outside a familiar place. In fact, it was so familiar to the point I didn't know how to react.

It was the orphanage that I grew up in after my family passed away. It had been three years since I came back to visit and I was overwhelmed with nostalgia during the years I've lived here. I stood rooted on the spot and my legs trembled for some reason.

Why would Taehyung bring me here?

I slowly turned my head to face him in confusion and he was staring at me gently; with a kind smile on his face.

"Why...did you bring me here?" I questioned him.

He chuckled as he held on to my hands, pulling me gently in to the orphanage. Surprisingly, I did not reject him and just went with the flow. He brought me to the back yard of the orphanage and we stopped right in front of a wall.

"It's still here." Taehyung commented as he looked at some really faded scribblings on the wall. It seemed to drawn by children with chalks. At a closer look, I saw a faded character of my name together with another name and my eyes grew wide.

Flashback 14 years ago

A little girl cornered herself away from the other orphans in the room as she stared blankly at the group of children playing together. Tears started to form in her eyes as a strange feeling rises within her.

"Oh? Why are you crying?" A boy of a similar age squatted down in front of her and asked in concern.

"Hmph!" The girl looked away in irritation, ignoring the boy as he wondered what was troubling the girl.

He reached his hands out to grab on to the girl's hand and encouraged her to follow him to the back yard of the orphanage. The boy squatted down again at a random spot and started to dig a hole on the soil. The girl was confused and surprised by his actions as she observe the boy.

There was a small box in the soil and the boy took it out happily to reveal a box of chalks. He stood up and handed the chalk to the girl. "Which colour would you like?" The boy asked.

The girl looked at the box of chalk cautiously and reaches for a purple one.

"Come on! Let's draw over here!" The boy encouraged as he started to drew out a blue chalk and drew on the wall.

"Oh no! Ms Uee will scold us if she finds out we have drawn on the wall!" The girl rejected as she dared not to draw.

"Don't worry! No one comes here! Look! I have drawn on this wall so many times already!" The boy exclaimed proudly at the other scribblings on the wall.

A tiny smile formed on the girl's face and she giggled. Finally she got the courage to join the boy and they started to scribble on the wall happily. When they have finished drawing, the boy suggested to put their initials below their drawing as a memory.

"But...I don't know how to write." The girl said sadly.

"Don't worry! We can just follow the name on your name tag!" The boy pointed to the name tag at the side of her shirt. The girl felt relieved as she did not have to worry about not being able to write her name.

Present--

"You were that boy from the past." I suddenly remembered that faint yet heartwarming memory and I blurted out.

"So you remembered huh?" Taehyung grinned happily as he looked at me.

"I never expected you to be in the same class as me! How could I not recognise you?" Tears started to well up in my eyes as I looked in to the eyes of Taehyung.

"I don't blame you though. I left the orphanage four months after you came in anyway. To be honest, I recognised you right from the start when I saw you in the cafeteria last year. But I was too afraid to approach you as I thought you might not be able to recognise me. When I know we are in the same class this year, I wanted to get close to you and come back to this orphanage together. I'm glad I am able to do so before we graduate." Taehyung confessed as he started to draw closer to me.

He wrapped his arms around me as we hugged one another. "Let's stay together and create more memories from now onwards."
