CHAPTER 2

Backstory

After camping on the island for three days, the Mugiwara pirates finally set sail with a guest which is Yukine. Yukine hasn't joined the Mugiwara pirates because Luffy has not invite him. Yet. While on their way, the crew agreed to help Yukine with his competition and it all started to change into something else.

"So what's the highest bounty you've catch before?" Dad asked.

"The highest would be Juzou the psycho with 60 million berries." I replied.

"Can you catch someone like that by yourself?"

"Well.... I'm not sure. I've never done that before."

"So it's always been with your sister?" Nami asked.

"Yeah. We back each other up all the time." I replied with a cheeky smile.

"That is gonna be a bit of a problem. Since you're used to fighting with someone, it's hard for you to fight alone because you would be expecting someone to help you out at times." Dad stated.

"So that's what we're gonna improve you with." He continued.

"Improve?" I asked with my head slightly tilted to the right.

"We're going after someone with 70 million berries. Nami, can you find someone with that bounty?" Dad asked ignoring me.

"Sure." She replied.

"Yukine, meet me on the deck." Dad stated before he walks out with a smile.

I was confused but went along with it. When I got out of the kitchen, dad was talking to the guys on the deck before he turn his head to see me. He stayed in the middle of the deck while the others spread out, forming a ring. I went down and walk towards dad with a confused look.

"What's all this about?" I asked.

"You and I... are gonna fight." Dad replied

"What-" He tried to punch me. I quickly blocked his punch before throwing him back.

"Not bad. You're stronger than I expected." Dad commented.

"You're serious about this?!" I exclaimed, a bit terrified.

"Of course I am. So if you can defeat me, you can defeat anyone." He stated while putting on his haramaki and taking out his swords.

I gulped seeing how serious the tension is. Then suddenly, he charges. I took out my two daggers and blocked off his attack. I threw him back and we started to attack each other over and over again with everyone cheering for either me or dad. One of his attacks managed to throw me back. I paused for a moment to catch my breath while dad watched me with a smirk.

"Come on. You can't be tired already." He teased.

My teeth gritted against each other by his words that clearly ticked me off. I then strike him out of instinct but he easily dodged it. I keep striking but he keeps dodging or blocking them. I then charge at him and jumped when I was a few feet away from him.

"Sharp Steps!!" I yelled as I tried to cut him with my feet but he dodged them.

However, I did cut something else. The ship's main mast and... it fell. Everyone hurriedly caught it before it smashed onto the ship and unfortunately, I have to fix it. Usopp gave me the supplies and I fix them within twenty minutes or so. Then, I head to the kitchen since it was lunch.

"Yukine? You're done already?" Usopp asked when he noticed that I got in.

"Yeah and I got blisters." I replied, feeling a bit tired.

Chopper did help me with the blisters before I joined them with lunch.

"So who are we after?" I asked.

"Here." Nami replied as she hand me a wanted poster.

"Speed Of Sound Sonic? Haven't seen him in a while." I commented on the poster.

"You know him?" Dad asked.

"We've tried to get him once but he ran away. That bastard got on my nerve every time he tried to." I replied.

"Why?" He asked again.

"He freaking called me a slow moving spike fruit every time he runs away." I replied, getting a bit mad from remembering him. I got a bit more pissed when I heard Usopp, Chopper and Sanji snickered at me.

"I dare ya to laugh at me!! I dare ya!!!" I yelled angrily.

"Well, it's not your fault that your hair was blonde." Dad stated.

"Speaking of which, can you tell us more about your mom? I kinda wondered what type of girl that Zoro would actually date." Nami suggested. 

"Well... I'm not sure what type of lady my mom really is but for me, she's the most awesome person ever!" I exclaimed.

"Really? Why's that?" Robin asked.

"She's the most wanted pirate ever with a bounty of 5 billion berries." I explained and both Luffy and Nami spat out their drinks.

"B-Billions?!?!?!" They yelled out.

"Don't tell me that your mom is the legendary weapon master Sora?!" Nami asked.

"Weapon master Sora?" Usopp asked.

"Legend has it, Sora was the worlds most dangerous and wanted pirate in the world. Her bounty lure countless bounty hunters to their own deaths and all of them said that it's a suicidal mission to go after her. Wherever she goes, she always carries a big scythe she called The Punisher. Not only that, all of her crimes were very terrifying. She killed a World Noble and once threatens all Navy officers for a mysterious reason. Because of this, she is known as a real life monste-" Nami was cut off when I slam my hands on the table and shouted.

"She's not a monster!!! She never is and she never will!!" I then leaves the kitchen, leaving everyone speechless.

I stomped off towards the head of the ship and just stood there watching over the vast ocean.

"Look! It's the monsters!!"

"Run Kirara! Don't go near that lady!!" 

"Look, it's Zoro."

"Be quiet! Or he'll kill us!"

My teeth gritted against each other as i more and more pissed at every single memory that flashed before my eyes.

"Don't worry mom, I'll clear our family name." I said to no one as I look up at the sky.

I look back at the ocean only to see that a part of it was replace with an island.

"But I got some things to do first, so just wait a little longer."
