I saw a glimpse of what looked like more artificial light flowing above me like rushing water. My body ached as if a car going at 200 miles an hour had just hit me dead on, I'm not joking when I say I much rather be dead, than alive on that moving first responders' stretcher. Every time we hit even the slightest bump on the floor my entire being felt as if it was being pressured by another 150 pound cinder block. I fell asleep.

I woke up I don't know how long after I fell asleep, drowsy, tired, disoriented, but mostly swollen. My eyes, arms, legs, everything; swollen from whatever had hit or fallen on me. My slowly deteriorating eyes opened ever so slightly so that I can make out the faintest silhouette of a few figures all dressed in white hovering around me. I could not tell their gender but that didn't really matter to me, although when one spoke it was a soft, gentle, sweet voice. After my eyes widened a bit more I could finally see these people present. One, a women, said "Don't worry you will be sleeping shortly." "Creepy" I remember thinking to myself, "what does she mean by sleeping shortly?" Another voice, this time deep and masculine said "Do you know where you are?" "Where do you live?" "How old are you?" and finally "Do you who you are?" This puzzled me..thinking to myself "Of course I know these answers?!"

My name was Naomi Adrien Williams, and I live in Geo-Wiscon-Calif, Tex...what was happening I couldn't remember where I lived! I tried the next question surely thinking it was just that one question that stumped me. I thought "How old am I ?" Well I'm 12, no that doesn't sound right, 18, that didn't sound right either...oh no it is happening again..what is wrong with me?, I thought to myself. How could I forget where I lived, let alone how old I am?!. The masculine voice said again "it's alright I'm surprised you know your name alone." "You, Naomi, along with the rest of the world were hit by an unknown force of nature, except it wasn't nature, we think it was an higher, unknown, ultimate intelligence that is able to control this planet."  "You mean like aliens?" I said. "Maybe, or maybe some of our own humans that survived were able to create whatever had happened." Another soft, feminine voice said "but you are with us now, so don't worry." I tried contemplating what they had said, but all I could think of was how tired I was. Lying their stiff, my eyelids slowly drowning to the weight of fatigue and tiredness. When I woke up, I don't know how much later I could tell that we were moving again, probably another stretcher or something like that. I felt like I was being lifted into something, the next thing I knew their was a cold chill in the air and my body was slowly shutting down, tired again I fell asleep.
