The Dream... or reality?

Chapter 1.

BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ.

Thomas groaned. He slammed his Alarm off, then buried his head underneath his covers. Thomas didn't want to wake up today was because of work. God, did he hate going to work. His suit was always too tight, The person in the office next to him we be constantly singing and worst of all, his boss was always in the office in front of him. He was always scared he'd mess up, and he had once.

BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ.

"I swear to god." Thomas sat up in his bed. He stretched his arms out, and then turned his Alarm fully off. He ruffled the curly mess on top of his head he called 'hair' into some kind of organised mess. Thomas heard the buzzing again. This time, it was his ring tone. James was on the other end. He scrambled about, grabbed his phone and accepted the call.

"James!" Thomas exclaimed, sheepishly. "Hey uh.. I just woke up." He rubbed his neck.

"Oh my gosh, Thomas i'm sorry.." James' tone changed into a guilty sounding one.

"N-No James. It's fine. I needed to wake up for work anyway..."

"Oh by the way, Washington said we don't need to go to work today. So I was wondering... Would you like to meet up at Starbucks?"

"OF COURSE!" Thomas cleared his throat. "I mean, Sure!"

James laughed. "Okay Thomas, I'll see you there."

"See ya!" The call ended. Thomas looked into the mirror ,God, I look awful, He thought.

Thomas went down stairs to get some coffee. Good old coffee, it would always wake him up. For some reason, today it definitely woke him up. After he'd drank the last drop of coffee, he suddenly had the energy to bounce about His house. So, he went upstairs, washed himself down, and looked through his wardrobe. He chose to wear a fancy, magenta short-sleeved shirt. He also chose some light blue jeans, along with some nice shoes.

He ran outside, jumped in his car, and got the engine started.

Today was going to be a good day.
