It's Times Like This

It's times like this that I think about it.

Would the world be happier without

me? Would she finally get what she

wants? I know it might hurt but God

knows I might try. Would my parents

stop fighting with her or would it only

make it worse?

She says I'll be fine, that she didn't even

hurt me but I have scars for proof. It's

times like this that I need to be brave

but, tears still stain my face. She pokes

me and laughs at me. I'm just a player in

her game. I wish she would realize that

I'm a person too, that I have feelings.

But she doesn't and probably never will.

It's times like this that I think about it.

Would the world be happier without

me in it?
