General Pov:
22-year-old Dipper Pines sighed softly as he closed his journal and placed in inside of his trench coat pocket. It had been 10 years since the Weirdmageddon fiasco, and since then Dipper had changed. His hair had grown and he could now cover his birthmark without the use of his hat. He wore a blue trench coat similar to the one his Gruncle Ford wore all those years ago. He wore a black shirt under it and a pair of jeans as well as a pair of boots. He had graduated high school early and moved back to Gravity Falls to follow in his great uncle's footsteps in investigating the paranormal. Although there wasn't as much as there had been years ago, he still made some amazing discoveries.
He had just moved back to Gravity Falls about a year ago and was living alone in a spacious house. It had 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an amazing kitchen, living space, and an office. He was happy, but at the same time, he wasn't. He constantly felt a deep emptiness he had no way to fill. He felt as if he was missing something, like he was looking for something. But he didn't know what.
He sighed as he grabbed his keys and walked out the door locking it behind him. He walked through the small town, multiple people saying hello to him, as he was rather well known across town. Ever since he moved back to Gravity Falls, he constantly solved mysteries that even the towns authorities couldn't solve. He walked into Greasy's Diner and took a seat on one of the bar stools. He pulled his journal out and just looked at it, scribbling something in every once in a while. It had a dark blue cover with a gold pine tree with the number '6' glued in the center. Grenda stood behind the counter and smiled, "Hey dip, you want your usual?" He nodded, "Yes please, thank you." She nodded and made him a quick cup of coffee. He reached for his walet only bo be stopped by her manly voice, "Oh no, you know your money is no good here." She said. He chuckled, "C'mon Grenda, you know I cant not pay." He handed her the cash and she sighed, "You're too kind for your own good." He sighed as he took a sip of the coffee in front of him. He placed the journal back into his vest pocket and began to remember one of the best and saddest days of his life. The day he first left Gravity Falls.
Flashback:
Dipper sighed as Mabel and himself stood at the bus stop with all their friends around them. They had just said all their goodbyes and the bus was pulling in. Dipper frowned as he realized the one other person he wanted to be here wasn't. As he was about to walk onto the bus, he heard the voice of an angel. "DIPPER, WAIT." Dipper turned around only to get tackled into a hug by a mop of blonde hair. He returned the hug as multiple 'Aww' sounds were heard. "Pacifica I-" But he was cut off as she did something that surprised everyone. She kissed him. Dipper returned the kiss clearly shocked that she did this. The pulled apart and gazed into each other's eyes, only to be interrupted by a honking sound. "Hurry it up kid, I don't have all day." The bus driver said annoyed. Ford pulled his blaster out and pointed it at the driver. "Shut up, can't you see my ship is sailing!" The bus driver simply froze. Dipper looked at Pacifica who was still crying. He pulled her into a hug which she happily returned. Dipper took his pine tree hat off and placed it onto her head. "Never forget me, ok?" She smiled as she handed Dipper a small box and nodded. He opened it to see a gold necklace with a lama symbol on it. He looked at Pacifica to see that she was wearing an identical necklace only with a Pinetree symbol on it. Dipper smiled. "I will cherish this forever." He said as they hugged one final time. Dipper and Mabel got onto the bus and took their seats. The bus pulled away as they waved goodbye to their friends.
Flashback end
When Dipper and Mabel returned the next summer, they found out Pacifica and her family moved away and she was sent away to school. But that didn't stop Dipper, he still came year after year hoping to see her again, but received no luck so far. He was snapped out of his thoughts as someone sat on the stool beside him. Dipper looked at the person to see it was a girl who looked his age with blonde hair and running makeup. But what caught Dipper's eye, was the faded blue and white hat in front of her with a blue pine tree in the center. 'It can't be!' he said as he stared at the hat. He looked at the girl again to see that she was wearing a turquoise blouse and a pair of jeans and flats. What stood out to him, was the gold necklace around her neck with a Pinetree on it. "W-what are you looking at?" She asked angrily as she caught her gaze. Instead of answering, Dipper pulled a gold necklace with a lama on it. Her eyes widened like saucers. "D-Dipper? Dipper Pines?!"
