Roommates

Chapter 2: Reunion

General Pov:

Pacifica stared in shock at the boy in front of her. She had been having one of the worst nights of her life and now, here she was staring into the deep brown eyes of her childhood crush. Without a second thought, she lunged at him hoping this wasn't a dream and not daring to let go. Dipper returned the hug, happy that she was finally back. "I can't believe it's actually you." She said with more tears falling from her eyes. Dipper smiled as he lifted her chin up and looked her in the eyes. Even with her makeup running, he still thought she looked beautiful. Before he could say anything, she spoke up. "C-could we go to your house? I have nowhere else to go..." Dipper smiled at her nervousness and reached his hand to her. "C'mon, let's go." 

She smiled and took his hand. The 2 friends walked out of the coffee shop hand in hand. The town's folk were shocked to see the town hero Dipper Pines holding hands with THE Pacifica Northwest. Although shocked some weren't surprised. They both knew they were being stared at, but just ignored it and enjoyed the moment. They approached Dipper's house and opened the door. She looked around and smiled at the small cozy home. She looked at the mirror to only now realize her makeup was running. Dipper, noticing her stress, put a hand on her shoulder. "You look perfect no matter what." She smiled and hugged him. Dipper returned the hug with butterflies in his stomach. 

"W-where's your bathroom?" She asked slightly nervous. Dipper pointed to a door next to the stairs. "Right there. Take your time, I'm going to make some tea. She nodded and went to the door as Dipper walked into the kitchen. "That was not how I thought this day was gonna go..." He muttered as he warmed up some water. After a few minutes, he herd Pacifica walk through the door, he looked over and he couldn't help but stare. She had removed all her makeup and he had to admit, she looked better without it. 

He handed her a pup of tea and the 2 sat on the couches. They remained in silence, neither daring to talk. Dipper, deciding to break the ice, spoke up. "So, what happened?" He asked implying to her in the coffee shop crying. She frowned, this was the one question she didn't want to answer. Dipper noticed her face drop and put a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, you dint have to tell me if you don't want to." She smiled at him and sighed. "No, its best if I tell you." She let in a deep breath. "It all started this morning..."

Flashback: 

Pacifica sat at the desk in her room drawing in her sketchbook. She was designing a dress since she had always wanted to be a fashion designer. As she was doodling, someone threw her bedroom door open. She turned around to see her dad standing in the doorway with a beer bottle in his hand. After they had moved away, her father and mother began to drink. He walked up to her and looked at the sketchbook with all her sketches in it. He then grabbed it and tore it to shreds. Tears began to fall from her eyes. "You don't need a job bitch, you have my fam's fortune." He said as pored alcohol on the ripped up book. She began to cry and glared at her dad. "WHY DID YOU DO THIS? DO YOU NOT CARE ABOUT MY HAPPINESS?" She screamed as she glared at him. Then, he did something unimaginable, he hit her. She held the spot where she got hit in shock. Without a second thought, she grabbed as much money as she had, and left. She went to the train station where she booked a ticket to her home, her real home. "All aboard to Gravity Falls."

Beck to present: 

"...and the rest is self-explanatory." She said as tears were falling from her eyes upon remembering what had happened. Dipper hugged her as she cried into his shoulder. A thought then struck him. "Do you have a place to stay while you're here?" he asked as rubbed her back. Her eyes snapped open as she realized she had nowhere to stay. "No... I could stay at a hotel or-" she was cut off by dipper. "You could stay with me." "But..." "I kinda need a roommate?" she smiled "Sure."
