I went to reach for the gash at my side, red liquid was seeping out of the wound. I was currently hiding within a small compartment in the facility.
Who would care if I died.....? Who am I fighting for?
Shouts were heard in the distance, but were too blurry for me to decrypt. Dark spots were slowly starting to form in my vision, my eyelids becoming too heavy for me to keep open. I feel a weight on my left hip and instinctively clutch it. The last thing I saw before closing my eyes was a silver and dark blue pocket watch.
