So, this chapter's going to be a little bit shorter, but there will be a regular length chapter after this. I just wanted to explain Matt so he wasn't just a random character that pops up out of nowhere. Thanks for understanding.
Pre-school was starting later that week, and had never been more excited. I hadn't ever had friends my age, so I wanted to meet people.
"Come on, you ready?" My dad asked. I hadn't started seeing the smiling person yet, so I hadn't experienced terror yet. I ran to the car and got in, more excited than ever. It was only a few minutes away, but I had to leave early because my dad had got a job at a school that I would be going to when I started Kindergarten.
I got out and there was only a few cars in the parking lot but I was there a few minutes early. My dad walked me in and I only saw one other kid. My first friend.
"Hi, what's your name?'' I asked as I walked over to him.
"Matt, what's your's" Matt had asked me. I hadn't ever had this much interaction with someone my age before, so I got even more excited.
"I'm Colton, what do you wanna do?'' I asked him, but the teachers interrupted as another kid walked in.
"Now kids, get in your seats, and once you sit, that's where you sit the rest of this year," she said in a happy voice. Her name was Mrs. Carly, I remembered from what my dad had told me. Matt and I walked over to a table and sat together, but there was three more spots open. We sat by each other though. In the next few minutes two other kids came and sat down beside us, their names were Joseph and Jackson.
"Hi, I'm Joseph," Joseph had said with a thick southern accent, which none of the rest of us had. The rest of the day everyone met everyone and we played games that boosted our school skills. By the end of the week, Matt and I had planned to stay over at my house for the weekend, and we thought we were geniuses because we both already knew our parent's phone number. I got home and he called me. We got it arranged that he would come over to my house because, well, we didn't really e a reason. We both lived in neighborhoods, but my house had a bigger backyard.
The day of the sleep-over came around and we were both super ancy the entire day. When the day was over he got in my mom's car and we went to my house. I had a wii and we played a lot of "Ben 10: Protector of the Earth" because that was our favorite show and game. We just played games until it was bedtime and we both just played our DS. Well, I played until I saw something. An evil looking person standing in my garden. The one thing I could tell was that it had a giant smile. A creepy, killer smile. It was much bigger than a normal human's but the rest of it was covered in black clothes. Black shoes, jeans, and a hoodie.
"Woah, do see that?" I asked Matt, pointing at the smiling person.
"Yea, whoa, it's looking at us," Matt said. I kept looking and it didn't move. Not a centimeter, not even a millimeter. It just stared at us.
"I'm scared, can we just go to sleep, maybe it'll go away then," Matt said hopefully, and my brain decided that it would work, so we both fell asleep. That was the beginning of my stalker, a stalker that wouldn't stop for a long time.
