Monstercat 002 - Early Stage

The explosion was blinding

    The pod finally burst into flames upon entering the planets atmosphere. I wasn't sure what planet we had landed on, i was only hoping we were safe. It still hadn't been very long since the attack so we weren't too far away from it. The pod was shooting down towards the ground at a very high speed. If we crashed like this it would cause a massive explosion. I couldn't react in time. It was too late. My only option was to slow the plane for a lighter impact. I grabbed the Speed control and yanked it backwards as hard as i could, so hard i am surprised i didn't rip it off. I felt the ship lurch and its speed slowly decline just before the ship crashed on the surface of this unknown planet.

    Green everywhere. It was all i saw.  I smelled a burning scent. My ship must have caused a nuclear explosion on the surface. A green liquid spread across the surface of the planet, burning everything it touched. I crashed into some sort of tall building with tall stone looking tubes. I looked out and saw a symbol of an atom on one building just before it sank into the ground. I had to escape this place before whatever inhabitants who were here found me. I climbed up a tall tube that had a hill connecting to it, and i jumped on that hill. Looking down at the ground, i saw some of what must be this planets inhabitants with a light, presumably searching the area. I could not return here. I turned back and walked down the hill to find my new life on this planet.
