"What was her name?" Nandani asked
"Meera- also she worked in a library near the street where I saw her"
"But how do you know she isn't a normal mundane girl" said Anukrati
"Seriously Anukrati, no normal mundane can kill a demon" Kritika said while crossing her hand
"And also she had the shadowhunter mark, and she could see me- she has the sight" said Raj
"So we need to find her" Nandani said while going to the computer
"This. Is. Indeed. Very. Interesting." Kritika said
Raj glanced at Kritika who was indeed thinking what Raj thought. Anukrati and Raghav would definitely be happy that a someone else will also be in this institute. Kritika was as interested as Raj about Meera. But why was Raj eager to have Meera as a shadowhunter and be with them.
2 weeks later
Meera was in her apartment painting her 10th painting of the month. After she got fired from the Library, she had no choice but to make paintings and sell them. Since she has ghost-written so many books, she got the money to buy her art material.
Normally Meera always made painting about the beautiful side of Mumbai, but today she decided to make a painting on the dark side of Mumbai.
After 2 hours, she was finally done with the painting. She made the painting for selling it but after she finished with the final touches, she wanted to keep it with her. She felt it was very precious to be sold. She felt that if she sold this a secret of her's would go out to the world, but later she decided to sell it. She took the painting and put in the balcony to try.
When she was going back to her painting studio, she saw her drawing room was in a mess, someone was here. She didn't have her knife with her so she decided to take one of her sharp paint brushes.
Suddenly Meera heard a noise from the kitchen. The person was in her kitchen. Slowly she went to the kitchen and opened the door. When she opened the door she couldn't believe her eyes, the same creature who she killed on that street was standing there. But how was this possible, she killed it. But not only was it that same creature, that creature was now more bigger and more weird-looking.
By the time she could process her thoughts, the creature leaped on her. She fell so hard that she broke her paint brush.
You are coming with me
"Get lost" Meera said while stabbing the demon with her paint brush
Stupid girl, you think that this small thing will destroy me
Meera pushed the creature away and she went to reach her knife from her knife stand, but before she could grab the knife, the creature took her leg. Meera fell down with a scream, but she was able to make knife stand also fall and a knife fell right next to her. She took the knife and stabbed the creature. The creature disappeared into thin air and she saw a man standing there.
Raj was again shocked. This girl always surprised Raj.
"What are you doing her, are you following me?" said Meera while she was standing up
"I am not following you, I am here to take you to the institute" said Raj while holding Meera's hand
Before Meera could answer Raj, she fell. Raj was able to catch Meera by her waist.
"The demon, he injured you. You have to come with me"
Raj took her in his arms and started to walk. Meera tried to tell something but she couldn't
"Now, you cannot say anything" Raj said to Meera with a smile on his face
