Happiness. The word formed in Annabeth's mind has she watched Percy run around in the front yard, being chased by a little five year old boy that had his hair and her eyes. They had named him Jason, after his god father, and Percy's best friend. Also chaseing him was Jason's little four year old sister, who had Annabeth's blond curls and Percy's sea green eyes,of whom they had named Thalia, after Annabeth's friend, she didn't come around much, being one of Artimis's hunters after all, but she came around sometimes. As she watched, three people joined the fun, they were their left side neighbors, Jason and his two kids, the boy with the short auburn hair and electric blue eyes was Storm, their four year old boy, and the little girl with the blond hair and the eyes that changed colors like a kalideoscope was his older sister, June, who was five. As the three of them joined the chase, Jason's wife, Annabeth's best friend, Piper came over and sat with Annabeth on her porch.
"How long do you think they'll last until the kids start calling for a sword fight?" Annabeth said to Piper, as she watched the kids chase their dad's.
"Ten minutes tops."
"No way... bet you five drachmas they only last eight." Annabeth said, a mischievous grin on her face.
"Try five minutes..." said a voice from behind them.
It was Hazel, Annabeth's right hand neighbor, who had just arived with her husband Frank and their son, who they named "Nico", was five years old, looked , like his dad but had his mother's eyes, after Hazel's brother, both of whom joined the fun.
"Oh three minutes tops" Calisto said, as she walked over as her husband, Leo, and their daughter, who they had named "Sally", or "Sal" for short, was fourband looked like her mom but had Leo's grin. "This will be interesting, and it also appears that I have won..." Calisto said smugly as the kids started a chant of, "sword fight, sword fight..."
"Pay up ladies" Calisto said as the three of them payed her five drachmas each.
"It also appears that the boys are obliging to the chant!" Piper said starting to laugh as she pointed at the boys, who had started to spar playfully at the delight of the children.
