Road To Nowhere - Chapter 3

Haruna fell down and took her hands of her friend. Mami put back knife into her pocket:

"eh...um....What to do now?!" -she started to panic.

Suddenly she bented down, picked up Haruna's body and hang up it on the back. She went oustside in the back yard, than layed the body on next her and started to dig it with huge oar:

"I'm sorry Haru...I have no choice... When i'll finish everything, i'll lay you in the best place in the world..." - she whispered and continued to dig. 

When the big sitch appeared, Mami took Haruna's body and layed it in the stich, then she hurled the ground on her and left.

Mami went back home. She was very nervous and was walking all around the room. She couldn't stop walking and walking and walking. She didn't even sleep that night.

"BURN! BURN! BURN!.." -suddenly the alarm rang. Mami jumped off of the chair. She fell asleep in the kitchen and didn't realize it. She quickly changed her clothes, took the bag and ran outside.

It was very cold in the streets. Looked like that it would rain soon. When she went outside in the garden, she saw the grave:

"So it really happened....It happened for real..." -she whispered and quickly ran out in the street to get rid of that scene. Everything that happened yesterday was "standing" in front of her eyes and couldn't forget it.

While thinking about this, she reached the university. The garden was empty. Mami slowly entered the building, took off her coat and headed to her classroom. She sat down in the back row and didn't say a word for the whole lesson.

The bell rang after more than 40 minutes. The first lecture was finished. Mami went outside in the corridor and stood near window. She was looking at clouds and was counting them.. She was trying to think about something different and not about the accident that happened last night..

-Mami...-suddenly someone said with a shaking, nervous but quiet voice. Mami turned around and saw scared Tomo. She was standing in front of Mami with teared eyes:

-Ma...Ma...Mami...-she was mumbling and couldn't say even a word normally.

-What's wrong?! Say already! - exclaimed Mami and started at Tomo.

-Again...this happened again..

-Happened what?!

-She.. She's dead! Do you understand?! She's dead!

-Wh..

-Haruna! That's who! She's dead! Mami! I can't... no, i don't understand how it can be possible.. At first Rina, then Haruna.maybe the next one will be me or you?! - she shouted loudly and fell down on her knees in front of Mami.

The "murderer" was staring at Tomo with the tears in her eyes too..

"What did i do..Why?!" -she thought and fell down on her knees in front of Tomomi too.

-But who told you about Haruna's death?! - Suddenly asked Mami curiously.

-Well.. I...I.. -Tomomi started to mumble. The different words crossing inside her head.

-Just calm down and tell me everything.. -Mami tried to make Tomo calm.

-Okay..Well, this morning, when i got up and was going to come out from the house, i ranged Haruna at home to say that i would meet her at the bus stop. When someone picked up and started to talk it was her mother, she was crying. I asked what happened and she told me that someone last night phoned them and said that Haruna is..is...dead!!! - Tomomi started to cry loud and shout.
