Don't let go.

I race down the corridor, frantically searching for the room with James (random name/character) in it. I finally find it and enter to see him staring at the ceiling, his caramel orbs focused on the glow-in-the-dark stars we stuck on because we were bored.  As he looks at me, his eyes widen at the scarlet stain on my white tee.

"James," I gasp, trying to catch my breathing as I clutch my side, trying to stop the blood but it's futile, I'm draining and I haven't got long left.

"(Y/N)!" he catches me as I fall to the floor, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close to his heart. Tears fall from his eyes as he tries to hold on and be strong for me but I can see him straining.

"Please, I haven't got long left," I whisper, "Promise me, James, promise me that you won't stop living, promise me that you won't let that smile fade from your eyes and promise me that you'll, one day, be happy," a tear rolls onto my cheek and James gently brushes it away.

"No!" he cries frantically, "You can't do this to me, please, don't let go!"

"I love you, more than you can know," I see black dots in my vision and I know it was time for the sword of Damocles to relieve me of my life. I close my eyes and feel James' heartbeat lull me into a dreamless sleep.

A/N: Sorry, that was so crappy!
