How You First Met
Today is the last day of school and you and Logan, your best friend, were hanging out in the pandemonium. You two sneaked out of the orphanage and were almost drunk...almost.

"Y/n, Samantha' s standing there all alone. I heard she just broke up with Josh." Logan whispered in your ear.

"Why don't you try talking to her. What if you manage to win her heart, swoop her off her feet like Prince Charming and rescue her from the evil dragon...and kiss her." You slurred like an idiot while making random and wild gestures with your hands.

Ok, maybe you were drunk...but you don't mind at all. It's the last day of school. Who cares anyways? Rules don't apply on teenagers. Is that what they say, or maybe you just heard it wrong?

"You go, I'll survive the night alone. It's not like I'm in the arena with 23 teenagers fighting for my life ya know? Bye, now go. Shoo!" You chased him away so that he could put his game in action.

You sneaked out of the back door and was about to leave when you heard loud voices behind you. You saw a bright light and when you tried to focus, you saw that it was coming from a knife a group of teenagers were holding. Five feet in front of them was a big thing with horns on its head. You gasped in shock.

A demon! You don't know how you knew it was a demon but you were sure that you should not be standing there right now.

The demon heard you gasp and turned its attention on you. You panicked and tried to run but it was already on full speed. It pounced on you and you embraced yourself for the impact. Just then, you saw a blur and the demon was on the ground with a knife stabbed into its flesh where the heart was supposed to be.

"You can see us?" A girl with red hair asked you.

You simply nodded, too stunned to talk.

"I'll bring her back home." Someone with a cold and husky voice said. Someone that sounded like he was used to being the one in-charge.

"It's okay, Raph. You don't need to do this." A guy with specs said.

"Yeah, and it's not safe. Look at her she looks like a lost puppy and you'll just frighten her with your warm talk." Said a sarcastic voice standing behind you.

That guy just hooked his hand into yours and started walking. You never talked at all.

"Are we just going to be walking through New York until you decide to tell me where your house is?" He said after a while of walking. "Because if you are you better-"

"I don't have a house." You cut him off unable to bear the pain of not being understandable by people.

"Well then, where do you live?" He said after a few minutes of walking silently.

You walked after a few more miles and stopped. You turned and walked towards your orphanage. You could see that mysterious guy, Raph, standing on the lawn and running his hand through his hair.

You thought it would be polite to at least say a Thank You to him for following you all this way although it really didn't seem like it tired him much.

You ran towards him and gave him a hug. You pulled away and looked into his eyes in hopes that you'd remember at least his eye color after you wake up tomorrow with a hangover.

You know you were supposed to be shocked but all you felt was the beauty of his eyes, the way they were black.

You forgot what you wanted to say and just walked dizzily into the back door of your orphanage. Old habits making your feet hit the floor boards softly in order not to wake Mrs. Boomer up.

You fell on your bed and drifted off to sleep. There is definitely no way you'd ever forget those beautiful and mesmerising eyes.
