Short Story That I Don't Have a Title for

          I could tell the entire room was nervous about what was to come, and I really can't blame them. Everybody sits, and waits to be released to the test that always brings pain. This isn't exactly a standardized test, it tests you on "physical strength and endurance", or as I like to believe, it tests you on how long you can resist pain.
          I could feel the fear linger in the room, the leader had walked. Her glare sent shivers down my spine, for she was the one who would put us through this torture. She releases us into the testing room, where we are joined up with the other group. I could tell they are just as scared as us.
          A large speaker is rolled out, and we all knew what was coming. Everybody waits in anticipation and fear for the leader to press the button that will put us through this painful test.
          Finally, she clicks it, and our attention is turned to the huge speaker as it blasts a voice through the room. "The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues..."
