Hmmn. Balak ko lang naman siyang iwanan nalang kina mamang pulis at bahala na siya sa buhay niya. Lol! 

He deserves that!

"Uhmmn..."

*riiiiinggggg

huh? sino kaya tong tumatawag?

"Excuse lang po" paalam ko sa kanila saka ko sinagot ang phone

"Hello?~" 

"Angel~" sagot ng kabilang linya

"Oh! Charles? baket?"  he sounds so sad

"Your parents.." bigla akong kinabahan.

"What about them?"wala naman sigurong nangyari sa kanila, baka kinakabahan lang ako sa wala.

or not.

Wala akong narining na response sa kabilang linya kaya hindi ko na napigilang magtaas ng boses.

"WHAT THE HECK CHARLES?! WHY DON'T YOU TALK?!" 

nakakainis na siya ee! aatakihin na ako sa kaba! my hands are starting to tremble in anxiety!

"Angel you need to be here in  ******** Hospital, your parents are here"  malungkot na pahayag niya

Pinatay ko agad yung phone tsaka tumakbo ng mabilis palabas para kumuha ng taxi.

Dyos ko po, sana po walang masamang nangyari sa kanila.

"Manong oh"  abot ko agad kay manong driver yung pera at hindi na hinintay pa ang sukli, I hurriedly went off the car and run towards the entrance, malapit na ako sa pintuan nung salubungin ako ni Charles

"What happened?"  kinakabahan kong tanong

"Where are they?"  tanong ko ulit.

Jesus! I'm trembling!

"Charles! bat tayo andito sa O.R ?! ansan sina mommy?!" fear is eating me.

Charles' Pov:

I hugged her tightly. I can't bear seeing her like this. It hurts me so bad.

God! she's shaking!

"Hushh~ Angel~"  pagpapa-kalma ko sa kanya.

"Charles, tell me they're okay..." she plead. Niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit.

Biglang bumukas ang pinto nang O.R at lumabas ang doctor na agad naming linapitan.

"Doc! how's my parents ?" tanong ni Angel pagkalabas palang nung doctor

Bumuntong hininga muna ito saka kami matamang tiningnan at umiling.

"I'm sorry"

"Doc naman! anong I'm sorry, I'm sorry na yan! okay lang naman po sila diba? diba?! sabihin mo doc! ano ba!" hysterical na sigaw ni Angel while tears streaming down her face. She almost kneel in plea,  and it's like a thousand stab of knives striked my heart just by seeing her in this state.

"Your father is in coma. He'll be in critical condition this whole night , we just hope he' ll surpass it. And your mom,  I'm sorry but..." napatigil ito at tumingin sa amin saka bumuntong hininga ulit.

Hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ko sa susunod na sasabihin niya.

Dennise's Pov:

"What happened to my mom doc?! tell me she's okay! doc! come on! please tell me she's okay" I said almost begging him. I may look crazy but the hell I care!

"I hope I can say it hija but I'm sorry I can't. She's gone, excuse me" sabi nito

No! mali yata ako ng dinig...

I can't feel my feet! my body is starting to shake in grief.

Napa-upo nalang ako dahil sa panghihina, and bundle of water is streaming down my face.

"No! she's ... she's... no!" I can't even say the worl itself!

Hindi! hindi to totoo! dapat magising na ako, this is just a nightmare! this...

"this can't be happening...tama! panaginip lang to! I... I need to wake up"

I started to slap myself real hard hoping to wake up from this heart shattering nightmare. I almost curse when I feel the sting but I don't care! because this is nothing compared to the ache I'm feeling inside me right now.

I can't almost breathe!

I can't bare it. If I have to slap myself over again, I'll do it! just to wake me up from this nightmare.

I am about to slap myself again when suddenly a grip on my hand stopped me. I looked at him in plea, he immediately hugged me.

"Charles, please tell me that this is just a nightmare... you're here to save me right?" I hopefully uttered.

Mom....

I cried out as he tightly held me while raining me with light kisses on the head.

Charles Pov:

I held her in my arms. After silently crying, she stood up then walk towards the door where her mom is. She stopped thee nurse who is about to cover the lifeless body, lying on the bed.

"Don't! I-I'll wake her up." she said. The nurse went out.

Denisse walks to her mom, then held her tight. Hinaplos niya ang pisngi ni tita.

"Mama..Mama..Ma, gising na po. Ma, gising na po jan huh? uuwi pa tayo Ma. Gabi na po oh. Di po ba Ma, ayaw niyo po sa ospital? Kaya ma, gising ka na po.. uwi na tayo Ma, huwag ka nang tulog mantika jan Ma...Gising na." She uttered smoothy like as if she's convincing a little kid. 

The sight of her is ppiercing my heart.

"Angel~" she looked up at me with watery eyes. 

"Nathe, ayaw gumising ni Mama, Nathe. Pinapahirapan ako ni Mamang gisingin siya. Nathe, ang tuog mantika ni Mama. Tulungan mo akong gisingin siya. Gabi na oh! Uuwi pa tayo ee! Ang kulit-kulit naman kase ni Mama ee, ayaw pang gumising" she look at her mom again.
