Chapter 2

Nicolas' P.O.V.

After the whole incident with Alex in the alley, I decided to stay over with her to make sure she was OK. When we got to her house, I told her "let's watch a Movie." "OK" Her ankle was still hurting her, but, since I carried her the whole way, it wasn't as bad as it was before. We decided to watch her favorite movie, 'SAW'. Alex got so scared she dropped the popcorn twice. After a while she fell asleep on my arm. She was blushing. Cute. I decided to turn off the movie and put the food on the table and I went to sleep. By the time I woke, Alex was already dressed and was eating. "Look who finally woke up" she said. "Well good morning to you too" I said Playfully and hugged her. "Let go of me!" She yelled. "Fiiinnee." "Hey, what are you going to eat BTW?" She asked. "What do you have?" "Frozen pancakes." "You wanna make me some?" "No. You have arms and legs for a reason. Do it your self." "Fiiinnneee!" "Oh and get change, were going to go meet the group in like 3 hours." "I have no clothes." "My brother's clothes are in my dresser left bottem basket." I start walking to her room while saying thanks. She yells back, "no problem."

~TIME SKIP~

Alex's P.O.V.

When Nicolas comes back from changing, he tells me "how do I look?" "If I didn't consider you as a brother, I guess cute then." I said. "Thanks. If I didn't consider you a sister you look cute also." "I look like if I'm a skater." "But still you look cute." "Thanks." I said blushing. After he finished eating my husky, Harley, came out of nowhere and started jumping on Nicolas. "Oh hi Harley. Its been a while since I've seen you." Her tail starts wagging. Nico is like a father to her. Before my brother used to be like her father before he died. Since then Nico has stepped in to take care of her. "She really likes you Nico." "Yeah she does. I can tell. By the way can I ask you something?" "Yeah go ahead." "Are you ready to start dating yet?" Does he like me or something?  "W-why?" "I don't know. I thought you would be ready. Its been a year since you broke up with Eric so I thought you were ready." "Well I don't know yet." "Oh OK." Does he have feelings for me or something? 

   

Nicolas' P.O.V.

I asked Alex if she was ready to date because I've started having feelings for her about 3 weeks now. I was going to ask her out at the beginning of last year, but another one of her best friends, Eric, asked her out before I got the chance. After they started dating, my feelings for her left. Then one day she came crying to me while running down the stairs and told me they broke up. I felt sorry for her and I had no idea how to help her, so I would stay over at her house a lot. She lived with her older brother who was about my age. Her brother died in a car accident. 

**FLASH BACK**

We were in the car taking Alex to go get her new pet husky, Harley. After when we got back into the car, we were parked and Alex started crying because she was so happy that she got a new puppy. On the way back, Harley and Alex fell asleep in the back seat. After a while, Alex woke up and when we were about to get to their house, a car passing a red light and slammed into our car hitting the driver seat really bad. In the hospital, Alex and I were waiting to hear the news about her brother. They told her she can go visit him. We followed the doctor to his room. He had a broken arm, neck, leg, and he was paralyzed. Alex started crying when she saw him.after a while, his heart beat stopped and Alex started yelling for the doctor. His last words to me before he passed were, "Take good care of her. Your the only thing she has now." Then he passed. Alex started crying really hard and fell on her knees crying. I got on my knees and started hugging her. I know what she was going through. I had lost my only sister in a plane crash. I was only 4 at the time so i didn't understand. My parents told me the story when I was older. After a while my parents past of old age. Alex and her family where the only family I had. When we were ten, I was staying at her house in the guest room. I heard screaming and glass breaking. I grabbed the phone and before I put in the emergency number, I heard gun shots. I ran straight to Alex's room to make sure she was OK. When I got her she was still sleeping. I picked her up bridal style and ran to her closet. I dialed 9-1-1. By the time the police got here, the man who killed her mother and her little brother had left the scene. She was suppose to either stay with her father or her brother. She choose her brother instead cause her brother was like a father to her, But like a brother to me. Then the incident happened and since we were like brother and sister, we decided for her to stay in her brother's house and I would stay over with her for a few nights.
