Chapter 1✨

Maddys POV

I was running, running fast trying to get away from that monster the monster being my drunk abusive dad.
I thought I lost him but he kept stumbling towards me he looked mentally drained with huge bags under his eyes. "Maddy I need to tell you something!" My dad finally spit out
"What?, what could you possibly manage to say?!" I was screaming now.
"I'm, im.." my dad looked wheezy and collapsed on the floor I called for help but no one was around, being this was around 2 am in central London. I called an ambulance leaving my dad to hopefully get placed into a mental hospital. I didn't care for what he had to say not now I just called my mum crying at the terror he just put me through "I thought he was going to kill me mom!"
"Sweetie I know he gets drunk a lot but no amount of alcohol could make him kill you!" My mum reassured me "come to johns asap we have something to tell you"
I hung up and walked to his flat, I've been there before and knew my way around London so I thought I should be fine, until my phone died I forgotten the number of his flat so when I got there I just rung random numbers hoping one would buzz me in.
I rung 35aa they picked up the phone, it was a man "hello?"
"Hi um my phone died and my stepdad lives here but I don't remember the number could you buzz me in please?"
"Sure no problem do you want to charge your phone here?"
I thought what if he was a pedo or is he a serial killer but I took my chances and said yes "yeah sure thanks"
He hung up and buzzed me in.

This is the first chapter and I hope you like! I'm not too sure where this is going but it should all make sense in next few chapters.
