Suddenly I woke up from my terrible nightmare. It's been two years since the day my dad came home drunk and murdered my mom because he thought she was cheating on him. I look at the clock and it's 2:47 am. Damn I still could sleep for 5 more hours but god forbid me getting sleep. I walk down stairs to get a drink and Tris ;my adopted mom; said" Honey what are you doing up it's almost three in the morning?" "I had a nightmare of that night, when do you think Kevin will come back?" "He said he'll be back tomorrow" Kevin is my adopted brother that's in college but ever since I got here I've always had a crush on him. But I have a boyfriend that I really like his name is Nolan. Nolan has never tried anything on me before but one time I overheard him talking to his friends saying "Yeah I slept with her so don't even try playing my virginity card." He's captain of the baseball team and I'm his first girlfriend. Aww I know right he's the absolute best. We have been dating for a two years. After talking to Tris I went upstairs and tried to go back to sleep but at 4 I realized I wasn't going back to sleep so I went and took a shower after my shower I did my hair, brushed my teeth, did my makeup and put my clothes on. My adoptive parents took me in 2 months after I was put in foster care. Kyle cried when I left but I couldn't see him or else I wouldn't want to go. Kyle has been my best friends since kindergarten. We have always had the same homeroom. It's been two years since I last saw him but I think about how he's doing and how he is. I'm about to go down stairs when I hear a faint knock on the front door and when it started unlocking I see Kevin!!! I screamed" Oh my lord Kevin I thought you were coming back tomorrow you... For all I could have known you could have been a serial killer" " Tinky it's just me and I missed you too" Uhhh I hate that nickname! She's super sweet but I don't like her because she's with him. But I can't really be jealous I have Nolan but honestly Nolan has been really distant here lastly I don't know why though. As I'm thinking about all of this I get a text from the one and only Nolan. 'Good morning babe' he said I quickly reply 'Good morning. Are you coming to get me this morning?' He replies saying of course. 'Why wouldn't I?' I was actually kinda hoping he wasn't because I wanted to spend the day with Kevin since he's back. I reply saying 'ok what time will you be here?' 'The same time as usual 8:15.' Well I need to get out of the house anyway.

That's my outfit for today. As I'm finished getting ready my door bell rings and I run down stair to find Nolan standing at the door. "Your favorite person has just arrived." "Of course he is! You ready to go get coffee?" Oh did I mention that Nolan and I get Starbucks every morning. Which is amazing because it always puts me in a good mood. "Of course but lets go if you want to get your daily muffin." So I run to my baby aka Nolans' car that I love so much. As we start driving my favorite song comes on Slow Hands by Niall Horan which is who I'm also currently obsessed with. I start singing along to the song and Nolan just stares at me like I'm crazy. That's the only problem with our relationship well actually no we have two problems. The first one is I won't sleep with him because I think you should give your virginity to someone you know your going to be with for a while. The second one is I act like myself around people I don't act like someone else others benefit. "If you have something to say about my singing go ahead and say it I could careless about your opinion." "It's not that I'm admiring your beauty." "Thanks" "Yup well were here so you want your usual a Nutella flavored frappe and banana nut muffin?" "Obviously." "Okay I'll be right back." He says walking off so I look around Starbucks to see if I see any new faces and I don't. Just as I'm finished looking around Nolan brings back my frappe and muffin and his Caramel Macchiato. "Hey can we talk?" He said with a nervous tone in his voice. "Yeah what about?" "Well as you know I went to a party on Friday right?" "Yeah that's all you talked about last week." "Yeah that would be the one. Look I'm really sorry about it-" I cut him off saying it's time for us to go so we're not late. I get in the car without a word and am silent the whole 5 minute drive which is rare for me. The only time I'm quiet is when I'm in class but NEVER when I'm with someone else. When we finally get to Creekside High School I jump out of the car grabbing my bag and run in the school. I already know where Grace is she's the teachers lounge. I bust into there and and see Grace and say calmly "Did you and Nolan kiss last Friday?" "Yes but I didn't want to. He was the one who came onto me I knew y'all were together and I don't think people that cheat are good people. So when Nolan kissed me I instantly pushed him away and later on that night we were playing seven minutes in heaven and Nolan took me to the closet and we made out and one thing lead to another and he ending up doing the dirty. I'm truly sorry about what happened but I can't change it." She said looking at me with pleading eyes. "Grace I understand what happened and I appreciate that you were truthful with me and for that I forgive you and what you have done. I know this is trash but it's only chapter one trust me it'll get ALOT more interesting in chapters further along-forever and always Hannah
