As you approach Saturn,the sight of its rings is breathtaking. They stretch into the distance for more then 155,343 miles (250,000km) from your space craft and yet they appear to be razor thin. The rings are actually less then 0.6 miles (1km) in thickness, and in some places they are as thin as33 ft. (10 m).
