Sitting on the top of the building viewing the city scanning the area below. There was a full moon tonight. And it was shinning so bright. Tonight was going to be a busy night for us.
~Earlier that Day~ Stephanie's POV
It was a normal day today. Got my bag thrown into the fountain ,almost got shoved in a locker, and got paper balls thrown at me during class. And now its lunch and I can talk with my friends since unfortunately I have no classes with them except lunch.
"So how's your day been" john asked me.
"The usually. Bag thrown in fountain, paper balls thrown at me, the usual."
"As that suck. I wish I could have some classes with you so then I can help you." John said.
"Yeah cause you're super strong john. You can protect Steph here and rescue her from the jerks of this school." Gemma said sarcasticly. And we all chuckled.
"Well I got used to it so its all good. It doesn't affect me anymore." I smiled.
"Well we are here for you. Right john" gemma nudging john.
"Yah totagly" he said with his mouth full of food.
"Yeah I know that" I grinned at john and his goofiness.
"Everyone on the ground" a voice said with gunshots going in the air. Along with more people with guns surrounding the cafeteria. Everyone screamed from the gunshots and went quickly to the ground.
"Anyone who tries to leave will be apprehended." The same voice said.
I was curled on the ground terrified of what they were here for. Not soon after footsteps were getting closer me. I slightly turned my head to see the persons face but they weren't looking at me. They were looking a someone else. I looked in the direction they were staring at,to see it was john.
"Get up" he said pulling john up roughly by the arm. When I looked into john eyes he didnt look terrified but almost as if he knew something.
"Stand straight." John did as he was told. "You the one. Come with me with me nicely and there won't be any problems."
"I will have to disagree with that." John said and then kicking the person in the face and knowing him in the face. The other people with the guns started shooting and then there were screms. I was about to jump and push john out of the way but he some how jumped high in the air and dodged the bullets. The next thing I saw was that all the people were down. And john was standing next to us helping us up and dragging us out the door.
"What. You. Them." Gemma said so confused of what just happened.
"She means what was that and how did you do that." I said tramslating for gem.
"I tell you later but we need to get out of here." We both just followed him since he was our friend. After what felt like days we were in woods and in front of a what looked like an abandoned shack. Once we got inside gemm a spurred out.
"Ok what the heck is going on. First our school is attacked. You jumped very high. And now we ran away from whoever those people were. And why did we run away.!" She yelled.
"Keep your voice down I don't know if they followed us." He said looking through the window.
"Ok but can you please explain what is happening." I said also as confused as gemma.
"Ok." He took a deep breath "I'm a demon"
