Sharon's life has gone down the crapper. Her latest client, former middle school mate and golden boy Justin Boyd, just walked into her office with a referral. He doesn't seem to remember her but Sharon has never forgotten him and the nasty rumour he...

Sharon's heart pounded so hard she thought it was medically impossible that she was still alive.
The last man, no person, on Earth she wanted to see sat before her. Worse. Her soon to be ex-best friend had dragged her over.
As they'd approached their lounge chair Sharon wished with all her might that Justin wouldn't see her. She'd settle for disappearing but magic doesn't exist.
"Mind if we join you." This can't be happening. She groaned at the extra sultry sound Kim made her voice. And oh god, she purred. She had to purr? Eartha Kitt would be proud.
What a nightmare. And she was enjoying herself too.
Sharon never should've agreed to let Kim play matchmaker. It was a mistake of of armageddon proportions. Made more abhorrent now that Kim knew her dream.
She remembers Kim's laughter ringing her ears an hour ago. Timed exactly after Casey picked up their son for their little father-son-fiancee sleepover. A sleepover he seemed to realize that mommy wouldn't be a part of. She would've love to have gone with him to set his mind at ease but sans the fiancee.
Worried about how her son was being treated she hadn't heard whatever Kim was babbling about until she gave up and snapped her fingers under her nose. When she asked her what's up with the distraction, knowing the current state of taboo of anything Casey, she stupidly blurted the nightmare she had about her and Justin.
Afterwards, Kim had an I-told-you-so shit eating grin splitting her face. It went downhill from there when Kim tried to analyze it. Spinning tales and speculations how the body and the heart knows what it wants better than the mind. So she should listen to it and jump his bones.
No use in explaining the ethical problems of a therapist involved in an intimate relationship with their patient. Something Kim quickly shot down reasoning you can't consider someone a patient when they came in for a consultation and there'd been no further follow up sessions. Sharon's only rebuttal was that she considered everyone that stepped through her office as one of her patients.
