As i make my way to the office, I take out my phone again and go back to the suggested friends list. I add a bunch of random people like last time, I come across a guy, Jacob Alcock. When I click his profile picture, the Thomas guy is in it with him. They must be good friends because their arms are on each others shoulders. Jacob is tall, with light brown hair and bright green eyes. Attractive, but Thomas stands out next to him. I never realized how skinny Thomas actually was until now, now that I can see his full body. I feel like I know Jacob from somewhere but i cant put my finger on it. By the time I look up from my phone, I'm infront of the office doors. I lock my phone and put it in my pocket as I open the doors to the office. I take my usual seat in the far right corner, I wait there for ten minutes before i hear the big guy call my name.
"Hailey! my office, now!"
he yells out to me with his small voice, he should know who hes talking to.
"Okay dont get your pee hot now."
I yell back as i walk into the office. As I sit down I get told the same thing that I get told everyday.
"Don't be rude to the teachers Hailey, They get paid good money to put up with you."
"That's nice." I say harshly.
He is shorter then I am, I'm 5'4 and I'd take a lucky guess and say he's only 5'1. He's a pretty nice principal but he needs to work on his yelling at me. He sounds like a little boy. I mean, did he even start puberty yet? He looks like a teddy bear. He has soft brown eyes and scruffy brown hair. When im not in trouble, he calls me my love or beautiful. He's way too nice to be a principal, but im not complaining.
"Look Hailey, I know you. I know you dont care what i have to say but you should at least give some teachers here a little respect." he says softly.
"You know me? You really think you know me? My parents don't even know me. So dont dare try to tell me you do, because you have no idea. No one does."
I say and storm out of his office and head to the girls bathroom just around the corner. When i enter the bathroom, No one is in there besides a shy grade ten who no one talks to. Her name is Samantha, I sort of feel bad for her because no one talks to her and she only hangs out with Kristina, Another shy grade ten. I give her a small smile and she returns it before i look at myself in the mirror. My hair is a little out of place but i fix it up and wipe under my eyes to remove the small specs of mascara that has fallen off my eyelashes.
"Do you hate me?"
I turn around and samantha is stood by the handdryer, looking down at the ground.
"Samantha, you ask me that question every time you see me, the answer didn't suddenly change. No, i dont. But if you keep fucking asking me i will start to. Now get away from me."
I suddenly regret what i say as she walks out of the bathroom with a sad look in her eyes. Why am i such a bitch to everyone? I feel bad, I jog out of the bathroom to try and catch up with her.
"Hey! Samantha!"
I yell when i see her wavy blonde hair halfway down the hall. She turns around and her brown eyes look lost. She must be going through a lot. Her pouty lips are trembling and she looks like shes going to cry.
" Look, Im sorry that i was rude. I can tell your upset and i didn't mean to make it worse."
"It's fine, I just wanted to be your friend. No one likes me."
" Hey, dont think that way. I am your friend and I know a lot of people that like you"
I say, trying to brighten her mood.
"Oh really, name at least five."
" Me..Kristi-"
The school bell interupts me.
Saved by the bell.
" Sorry! gotta go!"
I say as I turn around and head for the main lobby.
