Lexi's Point of View
Claire is so cute when she worries. She scrunches up her face and she sounds very nervous. Claire is my three year old sister smart for her age too. She worries about everything and is very considerite. She is my favorite sister and my only she is probably the only reason I made it through this.
It was very chilly on the day I was supposed to go to school not that I minded it. My mom of course wanted me to wear a coat to look normal but coats make me hot and I get sick. Claire knew this and tried to stand up to my mom but mom smacked her that's when every thing went wrong. Claire started crying and I got scared. Fear is my worst enemy. Everything happened so fast all of the sudden ice was coming from the ground everywhere except near me and Claire and the it hit mom she died and just like that we were orphans.It was hard to pull myself together but I had to for Claire. Things were going to be so much harder now.
