Todd's POV
"Alexis? Why do you hate her so much?" I ask.
"I just do." She says while her head is on the table.
"Why, what the reason?" I ask.
"You wouldn't understand if I told you."
"Maybe I would if you'd tell me." I say.
"No you wouldn't, your gonna think I'm weird but I just flat out hate nerds and people like her."
"She's my friend and you shouldn't talk behind my friends back." I mutter.
She gives me a sad look. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay." I grin.
"Since when did she have friends," she mutters.
I turn around to see Evelyn's head on the table.
I sigh, I should just stay out of it.
"Wanna go to karaoke with the others after school?"
She perks up. "Yeah!"
I smile. "Good."
_________
When schools over I go to the dorm and get dressed for karaoke. I put on black jeans and a Aero red shirt.
I look at my hoodie on the table.
Should I let Evelyn come?
Nah, she would say no. The others wouldn't want her there anyways.
I dial Henry's number. He picks up after three rings.
"Yo, you ready?"
"Yeah," I say. "Who else is coming."
"Vanessa and Blair, Nat and Jerome. Oh and Drew."
"Are they there yet."
"Yeah, we are waiting for you, Alexis and Nat."
"Kay, I'll be there."

Evelyn's POV
(when ever someone's dreaming it'll be in italics and flashbacks in bold.)
Evelyn's dream:
8 years ago, summer May
"Sweety," momma hollered from the kitchen, cradling her one year old baby. "That one boy, Natalie and Scott are coming over okay? Get dressed and clean up!" The girl stopped watching TV and did what her mom told her to.
"Kay mom!" The little girl said.
A few minutes later the little girls two cousins and friend came over. Two pregnant mothers and one mother also came.
"Hi guys!" She ran past the kids mothers and gave her friend/cousins a hug. (The kids are about five or six)
"Hi! What do you want to play today?" Her cousin Natalie asked while walking to the girl's back yard. Its so big, people mistake it for a play ground.
"How about tag!!" Her other cousin Scott said.
"Sharks and minnows." Her guy friend stated.
"Tag." The little girl said.
"I want sharks and minnows!" The little boy argued.
"Tag!" She shouted.
"Sharks and minnows!"
"Tag!"
"Sharks and minnows!"
