"Please sit next to Miss Hale, Miss Hale raise your hand." the teacher said as he signed the slip that Amelia had mean while given him, the blonde pale girl with golden eyes raised her hand with a scowl on her face, nodding Amelia grabbed the slip back and walked to the seat that had been assigned to her and sat down ignoring that girl that had been glaring daggers at her. "Well hello new partner, I'm Emmett Cullen pleasure to meet you." a tall and buff boy with ghost white skin said, his golden eyes shinning with amusement.

"Amelia Swan." she said and  grabs her books, she starts taking notes of what's on the board and ignores the looks that the strange family was giving her, her brown curls sliding over he shoulder and covering half her face,  Emmett looked at the new girl and frowned seeing her figure, 'She's so pale.' he mouthed to his mate and brother, they nodded and suddenly a small sneeze was heard in the classroom, a kitten like sneezed that made Rosalie Hale's glare falter as she looked at the girl next to her.

"Bloody dusty room, they should really be more careful when they clean the classrooms." Amelia muttered quietly and pulled her hair behind her ear and focused on the text she had been ordered to read. "Amelia..." she heard someone whisper and snapped her up, fear clouding her eyes and emotions, Jasper Hale frowned at this and looked back at the girl, "Brother we cannot do anything, she left and we cannot track her." she heard her old best friend say just before Emmett waved his hand in front of her face.

Jumping slightly in her seat Amelia looked at the brown haired vampire and frowned "I'm sorry, do you need anything?" she asked, "You spaced out, you were staring blankly at Jasper." Emmett said making her nod and go back to reading the text. The cullens looked at the pale girl frowning and sighed.

Morning went quickly by and as soon as the bell rang for lunch Amelia was the first one to leave the classroom and search for her sister, "Amelia I'm fine." Bella weezed as her sister hugged the living lights out of her, "I just missed you." Amelia said sheepishly and looked down, humming Bella hooked her arm through her sister's and rolled her eyes, suddenly a blonde guy with a brunette girl appeared and the guy said "Bella come on, we'll take you to the cafeteria."

"Wait, who are you?" the girl asked, jealously clear on her tone, "Amelia Autumn V. Swan." Amelia said in a sweet tone even though she sent a teasing smirk to the brunette next to her, "Jessica Stanley." the brunette grumbled, "Come on." Mike said leading them to the cafeteria, "Hey Mikey! You met my home girl, Bella." A guy with asian features said as soon as Mike, Jessica, Bella and Amelia sat down, "Oh, your home girl?" Mike said looking at him in a challenging way, "Yeah." The asian said just as a dark skinned boy appeared and said "My girl!" before he kissed Bella's cheek and pulled Mike's chair making him fall. 

"Oh, Tyler..." someone said just as Jessica scooted closer to Bella, causing Amelia to raise a brow, and said "Oh my God, it's like first grade all over again. You're the shiny new toy." Amelia bit the inside of her cheeks but as soon as a cute asian girl said "Smile!" she did just that a beaming smile settled itself on her angelic face, "Okay..." Bella said, "Sorry, I needed the candid for the feature..." The girl said "Feature's dead, Angela. Don't bring it up again." the asian boy said "It's okay, I just..." Bella and Amelia started "I got your back, baby..." the boy said to Bella who looked at him slightly freaked out.

"I guess we'll just turn another editorial on teen drinking." The girl, Angela, said looking down, "You can always go for the eating disorders." Bella started and Amelia added "Speedo padding on the swim team." "Actually, that's a good one." Angela said smiling "Kirk, right. That's exactly what I thought." Jessica said, "Who are they?" Bella suddenly asked "The Cullens." Angela said "They're, um Dr. and Mrs. Cullens foster kids. They moved down here from Alaska a few years ago." Jessica said "They kind of keep to themselves." Angela added "Yeah, 'cause they're all together, like together together." Jessica started and started explaining "The blond girl, that's Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett. They're like a thing, I'm not even sure that's legal." "Jess, they're not actually related." Angela defended "Yeah, but they live together. It's weird." Jessica said, "So what if you think it's weird or stupid and that it shouldn't happen you're not their mother to have a say in it, so shut it and keep your shit down." Amelia growled angrily and glared at the girl, the reaction was so sudden she didn't know where it had come from.

Her brown eyes were daring the brunette to say something, daring her to annoy her even more, suddenly a wave of calmness filled her and she sat back down sighing, "And... Okay, the little dark-haired girl is Alice, she's really weird. And... She's with Jasper, the blonde one, who looks like he's in pain. Dr.Cullen is like this foster dad-slash-match maker." a low group ripped through Amelia lips at the insults that Jessica was giving the couple. The Cullens looked at the girl and frowned, she was a human yet her scent and attitudes weren't. "Maybe he'll adopt me." Angela said trying to free the air, "Who's he?" Bella asked as she rubbed her sister's knuckles, "That's Edward Cullen, he's totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently nobody here is good enough for him. Like I care... You know. So... Yeah... Seriously, don't waste your time..." Jessica said looking at her plate, "I wasn't planning on it." Bella said looking at the boy.

"Oh god I can't handle you people anymore." Amelia groaned and got up smiling slightly apologetically at Bella, she then walked to the door next to the Cullens, when suddenly the pixie like girl stood up "Hi I'm Alice Cullen thank you for defending our family." she said hugging Amelia, who froze at the hug, she had never been one to receive hugs in Volterra so naturally she wasn't used to them. "Welcome." She said as Alice pulled back, she noticed how the girl's skin wasn't as warm as a human's and was nearly as cold as hers. Smiling at her, Alice allowed the girl to leave and looked at her back "She's strange." Alice said.
