I was walking home from school. I couldn't find Mateo at all so I just walked home on my own. I got in front of the house and unlocked the door with my keys.
I got in and saw Mateo chilling on the couch.
"I was looking for you." I said with an eyeroll.
"and I wasn't looking for you." He replied.
"Well you should of been... I almost got lost on the way home." I stated.

"Mateo, I got a girl tryna smash so I'll be back in a few hours." Ayleo said walking into the room.
"Ayleo, do you even know this girl?" I asked.
"I met her at the mall..." He said and I sighed.
"And she wanna fuck a few days after y'all met?" I asked.
"Bye Aaliyah." He said and walked out of the house.
"now that we're alone." Mateo said and put his arm around me.
I removed his arm. "Jade."
"Fuck Jade. She cheating on me, so why not cheat on her?" He asked.
"Not with me. Not tryna be apart of you and Jade's drama. She already starting beef with me already. aaand you're my brother." I said and he rolled his eyes.
"Momma ain't even wanted you. The people that was raising you needed to let ya ass go, so they gave you to my momma. She ain't even have to pay." Mateo said.
"Keep telling ya self that. This one of the many reasons why I don't fuck with you." I said.
"But, you fucked with my homeboy?" He asked and I looked at him confused.
"Who?" I asked.
"Zay." He said.
Zay? How did he know about Zay? When I was living in foster care, I went to a high school. I met this boy named Zay, I dated him. He wanted to have sex with me but, I didn't let him. That caused him to cheat on me and then we broke up. I was heartbroken for a good 3 months. Every time I hear his name memories just flow through my head.
"No... I don't know what you're talking about." I lied and he raised an eyebrow.
He pulled out his phone and went through his text messages. He showed me his messages with him and Zay.
