When darkness comes
Darkness falls
All the darkness in those walls
Watching and waiting while you sleep
All the more when you weep
As the day goes by and by
People just listen to you sigh
All the more when you cry
Watching and waiting for your soul to die
While the day haunts you more
Always thinking nevermore
