It was 3pm and I had to drive three hours.
I finally arrived at 6.15pm and was at 7pm at the backstage door like Paul said. I came in without any problems and sat in the first row. When the show started and Shane came on stage he couldn't believe his eyes and forgot his text for a second. Then he smiled at me and performed as good as always.
I came backstage after the show. He put me in his arms when he saw me. "Mary, what are you doing here?" "I thought I could surprise you." "I love you baby." He kissed me passiontley. "The hotel isn't so far away. Let's go there." "Oh Shaney." "Oh Mary. But tell me, how did you get this ticket and how could you come backstage?" "I've talked with Paul." "With Paul?"
