"(Y/n), please don't leave..." Jiyong held my arm as I was about to walk out the door. He had a pleading look on his face, though I didn't care. I was done.
"Let go Jiyong," I demanded with a stern voice, yanking my arm from his grasp.
He looked defeated. His eyes are glassy like he's about to cry. I feel a little bad seeing that, but I quickly shake it off. He wasn't going to thwart me now.
"We can talk about this!" He still continued trying. He shook his head furiously like he was trying to wake up from a bad dream.
I heaved a sigh, running my hands through my hair, turning to leave for real now. "We've talked about this plenty of time before. There is nothing to say anymore. I'm done being treated like this. Goodbye Jiyong."
And I walked out the door, my luggage in hand.

(Y/n) POV:
It's been almost 8 months since Jiyong and I broke up. I'm getting along fairly well. I have a job I enjoy, my own place, and I even got a cat to keep me company. Though I do miss him at times, but I know my emotional health is better without him.
We were together for 3 and a half years. Things were great for the first part of it, then towards the end, he became distant. He didn't act like he cared for my company anymore. I put all my heart into our relationship and he returned it with little to none. I mean he did do sweet things for me on occasion, but it wasn't enough for me. Call it selfish, but it's just so frustrating to be putting so much effort into something and that love isn't being returned equally.
I finally had enough and decided to break things off. It hurt, but it was necessary. I wasn't going to be treated like that anymore.

My friend Yuna invited me out tonight to have a couple drinks with her at this club her boyfriend is performing at. I agreed. It's been awhile since I've gone out and drank. It'll be a nice to have some girl time too.
I put on this cute, (f/c) dress I bought a few weeks ago with a pair of black heels. It's close to 8 by the time she picks me up. We arrive and the place is pretty packed already. I don't mind, though, the atmosphere is a nice change of pace. Yuna's boyfriend got a spot in the VIP section, so that was pretty cool. It was a simple feat, he is pretty famous after all.
The night went on, we drank a bit. Having fun, just dancing and chatting about silly things. Yuna trying to point out hot guys to me in attempts I go talk to them, but I declined most of them.
"Come on! You've been single for awhile now. It's okay to talk to guys, (Y/n)." She makes exaggerated hand gestures at the people around us. "Are you still hung up on Jiyong?" She knits her eyebrows together, giving me a questionable look.
"Not really," I take a sip of my drink. "I'm happier now anyways. He'll always have a place in my heart, though.." I heave a sigh, leaning back in my seat. "Besides, I don't think I'm ready for a commitment right now."
"You don't need to be in a relationship, just find someone to spend your time with. Hanging out with your cat isn't the same as human interaction, (Y/n)." She rolls her eyes at that last part.
I guess she does have a point. A little affection from another person couldn't hurt here and there.
"Yeah, I suppose so." I breathe out, tracing the rim of my glass.
"See? I'm right." She shoots me a triumphant smile. "Lucky for you, when Simon gets done with his set, him and a few of his friends are joining us. You can see if any of them can be potential candidates." Yuna gives me a flirty wink.
