Queena's POV

My black angel wings sprouted and I lift off into the horizon. Kingsley was right behind me. Yes, our guardian named us Queena Ophelia and Kingsley Raymond Blackwing, because we have black wings. We are highly trained assassins. We kill humans, vampires, but mostly rogues. Been trained since we could walk, and we can wipe out an entire human gang or werewolf pack in less than 5 minutes.
"Hey Q-bear! I got a call from Father and he needs us on a mission!" Kingsley yells from behind me. You could clearly see who is older, it's him. He's more collected in stressful situations. 14 minutes older and acts like I'm still 10 years old. My nickname for him is K-bear.
I slow down and wait for him to catch up. Before you start worrying that I didn't know that the man I call 'Father' had killed my biological parents, yes I do know. But I still respect and trust him as a guardian, fellow assassin, and mission specialist. He may have killed my real parents, but we understand that it was for our own good since we are a legend and they are mere humans. He's a vampire, whilst Kingsley and I are the only demon angel hybrids on Earth and in history.
We are the Spawns of Satan. The legendary killers. The ones who make some of the most feared supernatural creature's skin crawl. If you were a werewolf, especially a rogue, you would have a series of nightmares after hearing about us. Okay, I'm getting a little too cocky, but you get the point.
"Do you know what this is about?" I asked Kingsley as we are on our way to Headquarters.
"Probably some rogue issue or a drug dealer." He replied. It might seem like we are not close, but trust me, we are. We can't be separated for more than 12 hours. And we can do the creepy twin mind-link thing.

We are here now at Headquarters and just arrived at the office.
Knock, knock.
"Come in." The low voice said.
We entered to see Father sitting on his chair, typing something on his computer. As usual.
"K-Q-Bears!"- Yup, that's our nickname, known all around the Headquarters. -"You are wondering what you are doing for this mission, well, it's a double mission. You will go to a city in Virginia. There, the strongest pack in the country needs one of you to take out this rogue pack and the other will deal with some human trafficking problems." Father said.
"Okay, Father, I'll take out the rogues and K-Bear will take the human problem." I said, they both had a shocked face. Why? Because I don't normally claim the mission where I am killing rogues by myself. I am just as good as Kingsley and I can do it.
"Very we-" Father said but he got cut of by a very angry someone.
"No! No, I'm not allowing you to. It's too dangerous you can get hurt!" Kingsley protested.
"I am just as good as you! What makes you think I can't do it?" I protested back.
We argued more about my safety and his doubt on my skills.
"ENOUGH!" Father yelled.
"It's time that your sister does something challenging for herself. This will not only benefit her, but you too, Kingsley. I have noticed that you have bags under your eyes and you've been working too hard. So, end of discussion, your sister is killing the rogues." He stated firmly. Kingsley huffed out of the room as I stood there unknowingly what to do.
As if reading my mind, Father said, "Queena, go talk to your brother, calm him down and convince him that your choice is correct. After, go pack your things, you will fly to Virginia via wings." He said. I walked out of the office.
"Don't forget to say 'Goodbye' to me!" He mused right before I left.
Time to cheer up dear brother. I knew exactly where he would go. The cliff where we practice flying through courses.

There he was, legs dangling from the edge, eyes closed. He probably heard me coming so he turned around, it must be the hybrid senses. What? We got powers, we aren't just humans with wings okay?
"K-Bear? Please know that I know that you want to protect me, but I'm fine. It's you I'm worried about, you've been looking so tired lately. You need this." I say the most convincingly as possible.
"Yeah yeah, I don't want my little sis to grow up." He replied. I walk closer and wrap my arms around his torso.
"You sound like a concerned mother." I mumbled.
"We need to get packed, so come on Big Bro." I chuckled.

Back at the house that I share with Father and K-Bear, I'm packing my clothes which was mostly all black and white colors. My favorite dagger is stocked in my boot like usual.
When I'm done packing, I go towards the office to find Father and Kingsley already there.
"There you are, time to get to business. You will be there for a month, but you will also go to school so it's not suspicious. There's probably some idiotic assholes and sluts so I suggest you come up with a plan. You're 17 so you get driver's licenses with fake IDs. Werewolves probably have never smelled angels or demons before so you will just come off as humans with a more sweet-bitter fragrance, that comes from the angel and demon mix, than normal. If anything bad happens, call me and I'll come help you." Father explained.
"Well, I think we are all good, anything else, Father?" Kingsley asked.
"Oh yes, I have a mansion there already cleaned and filled with maids to take care of the house and that is where you'll be living. The werewolf pack doesn't know that YOU guys are the rogue hunters, so they think its a group of burly men. Stay unsuspicious. Also, your names are Brianna Williams and Isaac Steel, remember that. Stay safe kids, I'll miss you." Father says hugging us tightly. I haven't ever been away from my Father for longer than a week. I and Kingsley of course, pat his back and squeeze him in return. It would be strange to call someone who looks only 8 years older than you your father. He looks young, but he is actually 1200 years old.
"We'll miss you too, Father. Thank you for sending us on this double mission." We both say in unison.
"Don't forget to call." He whispers.
We both nod and leave the office to get to the cliff dragging our luggage behind us.

At the cliff, Kingsley and I both tied our suitcases to our legs so when we fly it will be right at our feet instead of carrying it. The sound of bones cracking filled the silence and in no time our black angel wings had formed.
If we were just angels, then our wings would be white. But, the demon parts turned it black and we also have the powers of vampire speed, mind-linking but only each other, eagle eyesight, a bear's strength, the hearing of a wolf, invisibility, and we can make our wings flame up when we are mad and produce fire from our hands, without getting burnt of course. We are also the only breed of angel and demon mix. Many people think we are only a myth, little did they know, we are definitely real.
We have now taking off from the UK to the US. Fun fact, Kingsley and I born in Massachusetts and raised in Oxford of the United Kingdom. Well, this is going to be a tiring 8 hour flight.
