Moana, a strong young fifteen year old girl, who was so independent and brave. Had sailed across the sea to deliver Maui, the Demigod of the wind and sea, to the goddess Te Fiti who then returned the heart back to its rightful owner. Thus bringing back life to islands, bringing back hopes to sail the seas again.
But, nothing lasts forever. Only after two weeks back on the seas, the people of Motunui had begun to relearn what was once long forgotten, and they weren't ready for the monsters of all kinds. Ships were being destroyed, people had been lost and never found, Moana had brought her people home. Then they reached out to Maui for help. Maui had a soft spot for Moana so even if he didn't want to, he did it anyways just for her. He traveled out to Lalotai, or better yet known as the Realm of monsters, but after he left.. he didn't come back for the longest time... Moana had to move on after two years of waiting on the shores of the ocean. Which she knew oh too well.
At the age of eighteen, her father Tui had picked out a good suitor for Moana. She was now chief, and she needed to give a new heir fast or who knows what will happen to Motunui without an heir.
It had been a full seven years sense they have seen Maui. Moana was now twenty two and taking only a few of the strongest in the village with her.
Moana was being courted but a skinny man, tall but lean. He didn't have much muscle oh his bones unlike Moana, Moana was strong, had tattoos and had a body that made men wanting the not so young girl. And the lucky man who was courting her was Lulu he wasn't liked by a lot of people, he couldn't do much. But he could keep good company to Moana as she was one getting over Maui.
Moana was bringing in the last boat and sighed as she finishing dragging the boats up on shore.
Her curly mess was up in a bun where it normally lived on top of her head, sand was all over her face her hair was wet so it truly wasn't moving from her head.
A voice called out to Moana, she turned to the village and smiled to see Lulu "Moana!" He cried with a joy full smile and hugged the more muscular female and pulled away " how was it out there?" He asked. Moana smiled and sat on the edge of the small boat "it was.. better, the monsters are disappearing. " she said happy at the thought of the waters becoming safer.
Tui, the former chief came up " Moana we need some help with the coconut trees, we are cleaning out a field of dying trees." He said smiling. The grays were pecking through the dark brown hair. Wrinkles around his eyes and lips showed his age he was much older he had a lot a bit of muscle in his arms and legs. Lulu reached out to help him climb back to the village. Moana had finished up and went to help Tui and Lulu clear out a bunch of the dying coconut trees.
(Hello all, I hope this is alright at just a peak of what this could be. If this works out I'll get chapter two going. Non of the pictures or characters besides Lulu are mine, Thank you :)
