Hey, world. I've got a story for you, and before anything starts this story isn't what you might expect it to be. It's about a girl who had pastel blue hair, that would fall so perfectly on her shoulders and in front of her lavender eyes, her skin was milky white, but most of all she had a past. So now that you've got a description of this girl, sit back, get comfy, maybe even get a snack, because I'm 'bout to tell you a story of a friend of mine.
The first part of her story was that she had to be sure. She needed to get her do's in place before she committed her act. A simple act, but it had a difficult ending.
The day was on October 12, 2016, at Greenville High. There the girl and I met, and told me her act.
Reader if you knew what it was right now you wouldn't understand exactly what it meant.
All I can tell you is that she was a lunatic, almost as mad as the mad hatter. Except I only told you almost, because though she was mad every once in awhile she still had some type of logic within her.
After she told me her act, I told her the thing not many accept, the truth. I told her this, " Darling, you do this, it could be the end. Except I understand what you mean, but still you and I banned that last year. It's like how we both agreed to call you Darling, and that was it."
There we both sat on the bleachers, letting our eyes wander around gazing upon the football field, and she responded with, " Why not? It could be perfect, and besides with the new name, let's just give it a try."
I huffed out, thinking man this girl is gonna be the death of me sooner or later. Perhaps sooner I might've been thinking at the time. Darling, of course, noticed what I did and preceded to tell me with this persuasive voice, " Echo, come on we should totally go back. " she then gave me those gosh darn puppy eyes " Besides remembering the good old times?"
Sighing and tilting my head, I nodded to her. Elated she jumped up and seized a grasp on my wrists. Soon after she took me to the place she would do the first part to commit her act.
Now before anything else happens reader is that, no she wasn't about to do something illegal if you were thinking that. Sorry, but she was better than that. Oh, also to mention is that Darling had put this restraint herself. You see when we went to the place where both of us committed the act. The problem was the horrible effect. We tried to fix it, but the effect only got worse. So, now she's petrified sometimes when she tries to fix certain problems, worried that she'll make it worse.Sorry, 'bout that back to the story. So, after a force endorsed car ride to my house the real story began.
There we stood, gazing at the thing we swore never to use again, but yet there we were about to use it. It is a time machine, well we didn't call it that instead, we called it, R.U.T.I.S.A.T. With it meaning Relevant Universe Time-traveling In Time And Space.
I had this sense saying, "Don't do it. You know it's bad." Well, I chose not to listen, because at the time I wanted to be rebellious and break rules, the rules I made. Well even though I wasn't listening to my common sense, l was petrified to say the very least. Darling, on the other hand, gave the feeling as if she just got a new toy, and couldn't wait to play with it.
Maybe, reader, you can now tell what she had in store, but don't fret if you don't. For Pete's sake, not even I knew at the time.
I took off the necklace that held the object, that might as well have determined our fate. Nothing really mattered at that moment. Darling took the key, unlocked the machine, and I was locked in place as she sealed our fate.
We ascended into the machine we left vacant for about a year. The young adolescent took in the memories and secrets we both made in there. She had this look that expressed, " Man it's good to be home." I on the other hand just gawked at the place we left behind. After a while, well more like a few minutes, she started her act. All that went through my mind was, " Well I might lose my life today, so I might as well get my do's straightened out. Except that can wait."
Wait I almost forgot I didn't tell you her act, but that's for you to find out, not for me to tell you.
So Darling pulled a certain leader, one that would first cause the act. This lever would take us to this nation. This nation was the main reason we banned no more time travel for us. After being pulled nothing happened the time machine stayed in my garage, it's was when it was released everything was put into motion. The ride took an hour, one hour of us waiting and not being able to change course, so just great.
She then spoke after releasing the lever saying in this sweet tone, " Hey, Echo I'm hungry, and I'll tell you more about the act. Except before that, let's get some pizza."
We went down to our little kitchen, heated up some leftover pizza, and began our chat. Starting with me, I asked her, " Why are we going back there? We both know what ended, and you were one that thought of never going back. So then why go back?"
With a somewhat frustrated sigh, she preceded to tell me, " The thing is we need to see the damage we've done, and you know who was the one who asked for our presence."
Shocked, in disbelief, I nodded, and responded with, " Okay. I understand we have to see our mistakes for the reality, and you and I know that going back to that day, and trying to fix it wouldn't do a thing."
Suddenly we crashed, not a bumpy crash, instead of more of a one that knocked you off your feet, and that's how we finally knew we were. Funny though, how come if felt only like a few minutes. Man time flies when you're having fun. Pun intended.
We walked off the time machine that was disguised as a 1992 blue Corvette, onto the rocky ground that we remembered. I saw and took in the place that was ruined because we weren't careful enough. Looking around something tapped Darling's shoulder, as she yelped, and turned around she saw the person that wanted us here.
Once, I saw who the person was I remembered his face, John, He had icy blue eyes, snow pale skin, and light grayish navy blue hair in a quiff hairstyle. The man (If you could call him that) dressed in white stood before us, and lead us to the place where the destruction began. Once there it didn't look like much from the front, but once we saw the back of the decaying building we were in shock. The sky seemed to have this depressing gloom, the air was moist and felt like something that was pressing on your chest, and the ground was rocky. The walls were falling everywhere you looked, one could see the building interior, and a chemical type of gas filled the air.
Now, reader, I think I'll leave you off with a cliffhanger because we all deserve this.
