Dakota was confused. His thoughts were mixed with feelings of happiness that she thinks of him. But she thinks of him a little to much. He opened the drawer, a high pitched squeaking nose came when he opened it, and grabbed the book. His hands flipped through the pages till he found another drawing of himself. "What the hell is this?" He mumbled to himself. He turned to the next page, nothing.

Suddenly, the handle turned and the door shifted forward. "Shut the hell up, I was taking a nap and you just had to make noise," the door opened wider revealing who was behind it. His hands trembled trying to hide the book. The roommates eyes met with Dakota's. "Please don't tell me you're her new boyfriend," her eyes gave an angry look. "Hey, hey, hey, calm down, I can explain what's going on," He stood up revealing the book on the floor, open.
"Well what's going on is you're a creep going through my friend's stuff," She gave a disgusting glare that reflected how she thought of him. "No, not at all, I can explain, even better, I'll call her," his hands fumbled to grab his phone.
"No need to, where is she?" She placed her had on her hip and tapped her foot. "Out to pick up her sister from daycare," he looked up at her. "Can we make a deal here Mr. Creepy stalker," she grinned giving a sneaky look at Dakota. "Depends on what it is, sure I'll take any deal," he smiled. "Deal is, if you tell me who you are, why you're here, and how you know Safiya, I, her roommate Talia, will pretend nothing happened," She smiled. "Deal. So I looked through her stuff, and you met me?" He grinned. "What? I don't remember anything like that happening," she laughed. "Let me begin answering your questions," Dakota put the book in the drawer and sat on Safiya's bed. He answered all of her questions specifically and she was now informed who he was, why he was here, and how he knows Safiya.

"Neat, so you aren't dating her?" She asked curiously as she sat on the bed and closed the door behind her.

"No, I'm not sure if she is really the one," he said glaring down at his hands.

"Oh, well, I have something to say," she grinned.

"What is it? Talia right?" He looked at her hoping he got the name right.

"Yeah! My name is Talia Blair."

"Oh, I'm Dakota, but what were you gonna say?" He was waiting to hear what she was gonna say.

"Well, I kind of like guys like you. Bad, sneaky, sweet, you're just right, Dakota." she leaned towards Dakota and whispered in his ear," you're a bad boy."

"Woah, I don't even know you," he scooted away from her, leaving her in a leaning position.

"Hey, I just said the truth, don't gotta get mad," she grinned.

He stood up,"This is crazy, I'm gonna wait for Safiya in the living room."

"Wait no, don't leave," she trailed behind him.

"No, go, I'm here for Safiya, not you," he stepped down the stairs one by one.

"But Safiya isn't here Dakota," she continued trailing behind him.

"You know what, I'm about to leave, go away, I'm waiting for someone," he plopped down on the couch.

"Whatever I'm gonna tell Safiya what happened," she grinned.

"We made a deal," he said in a worried tone.

"No we didn't, it's called lying honey, and she won't believe one thing you say," she grinned and slowly stepped up the stair looking back at Dakota.

"You little shit!" Dakota yelled.

Dakota opened the front door, and walked into the porch. Safiya's car pulled into the driveway. Dakota waved and walked up to her car. Safiya stood and shut the door of her car. She walked to the back door and opened it. A little girl was in the car seat.

"This is my sister, Piper. She is only 4," Safiya giggled as she unbuckled Piper.

"She sure is cute," Dakota lightly stroked her hair.

"Yeah, she gets it from her mommy," as Safiya said mommy she pressed Piper's nose making a "boop" noise.

"Hey look I know you just got here, but I gotta go. I'll tell you why later, I just need a little bit of time," Dakota smiled and squinched his eyes from the sun.

"Alright, I'll see you," Safiya approached Dakota and pecked a kiss on his cheek.

"Ha, how sweet," he said sarcastically.
