Lauren: well I ended it...

Dinah: so how did it go?

Lauren: terrible.

Lauren: she threw my parents in my face. Called me pathetic and admitted to cheating on me for a year with a guy named Shawn.

Dinah: I'm really sorry Lauren but at least you in a way dodged a bullet.

Lauren: yeah you're right but it still hurts.

Dinah: I know babe. How long were you guys together?

Lauren: three years. We've been together since our sophomore year of high school.

Lauren: we started out as best friends but I always felt something for her so I told her my feelings and we went from there.

Dinah: wow you guys were serious weren't you?

Lauren: yeah we were. I love her but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Dinah: I'm so sorry Lauren but I promise you that you'll find the one for you.

Lauren: thanks Dinah that means a lot.

Dinah: you're welcome.

Dinah: look my breaks over but I'll talk to you later.

Lauren: ok bye Dinah.
