Chapter 3: Family

Yoongi: Hey what about this motel? We can divide the rooms up

Yoongi said to Namjoon as they were driving along the road.

Namjoon: hmm, I guess it'll have to do.

He said as he eyed it out before flicking on his hazard lights to signal jin in the van, as well as you and Hoseok in the truck to pull over.

Jimin: Alrighty, whose gonna check to see if its cleared out?

Jin: I'll go this time

Jin said as he gripped a bat, while Jungkook and Jimin nodded towards him that they were gonna go as well.

As they walked off, you went over to your mom, handing her Bada

Mom: Ohh Bada, how are you my precious kitty?

She asked softly while petting Bada who was now falling asleep in her lap

You: How are you doing mom? It must be cramped in the van

You say as you massage her legs and feet a bit

Mom: Ohh its fine honey, its quite fun. We play games, and sing, and talk about life... Or, our lives before this I should say.

You just sigh softly while continuing to massage her legs. At least the parents weren't to bothered or affected to much by this.

Hoseoks mom: Hi Y/N, how are you dear?

Hoseoks mom asked with a smile that was just as bright as Hoseoks.

You: I'm doing good considering everything

You replied back with a chuckle as she just smiled at you.

Hoseoks mom: Y/N... How is Hoseok doing? He's been so distant lately.. I have an idea why, but i don't want to mention it to him. It might make the situation worse...

Jin came back out with jimin and jungkook, signalling that it was clear. Your mom hugged you and stood up, heading to the rooms with everyone else while you and Hoseoks mom stayed by the van.

You: Well... He hasn't been smiling as much, which is a shame..i miss it.. Although we do joke around. But it feels forced almost.. Like he's doing it just so noone worries about him..

Hoseoks mom: I see.. But on the bright side, he does smile genuinely a lot more when you're around. Aish, I shouldn't say any more or else he'll be upset..

She sighs heavily while looking up at the sky, as you blush a bit and look down before making eye contact again

Hoseoks mom: Its his father and sister... Ever since this happened, we couldn't get in touch with them.. He's worried sick.. And so am I.

I reach over, giving her hand a slight squeeze as I smile genuinely

You: They'll be fine.. Don't worry to much.

You said as you give her a hug. She smiles and hugs you back tightly, while thanking you

Hoseoks mom: Thank you Y/N.. Please promise you won't leave his side.

You: I promise...

You whisper before breaking the hug as you see him walking towards you guys. She starts heading towards the rooms with everyone else. Hugging and kissing him goodnight.
You were about to head to the rooms as well, until Hoseok stopped you.

Hoseok: Hey Y/N what did you and my mom talk about?

You hesitated at first before sighing heavily as you answer his question
