-Fletcher-
Fletcher rammed himself into the front door of the sorcerer's cabin, and the door flung open. Almost instantly, the parts of his skin that wasn't protected by armor and cloth was burning. Slowly, but painfully.
"Hey! He's gonna escape! Get him!" Before he knew it, two armored men where on top of him. In a rush of adrenaline, Fletcher threw both of them off. Pinning one against the wall of the house, he sunk his fangs into the knight's neck and pulled off a chunk of skin. Blood sprayed out of the wound, but he turned his attention away from it as the other knight grabs his shoulder and turns him around.
Fletcher jabbed him in the torso with his index and middle finger, bending the armor inward. The metal plate punctures his abdomen and the man lets out a blood curdling scream. Fletcher finishes him off quickly with a bite to the neck, ripping it out like he did with the other knight. He lapped up the blood from the wound until he drank his fill and turned back to where they came from.
Two giant, black horses were tied to a covered wagon, probably what he was going to be brought to the kingdom the sorcerer was talking about in. Running over to the wagon, Fletcher kicked the wooden slabs that held one of the horses to the wagon, breaking it. Without a second thought, he climbed onto a black horse, and rode off into the nearby woods.
----
The sun burned at Fletcher's exposed skin. He clung to the mane of the horse as it galloped through the woods. The flash backs of everything that just happened rushed through his brain in a jumbled mess. He wasn't sure what happened and what didn't, he just knew that he wouldn't be able to go back there.
The horse trotted into a cave, and Fletcher climbed off. Seems like a good hiding spot. He grabbed a rope that hung off the bridle he hadn't noticed before, and lead the horse further into the cave. Luckily the cave wasn't elaborate, just deep enough to have a decent amount of a no-sunlight spot.
----
Fletcher examined the harness around the horse, that had previously tied him to the wagon, looking for a way to take it off. He undid buckles and ties until he could finally pull off the harness. Taking off extra wood that was still attached to the harness, he threw the slabs and splinters to the side of the cave. He picked up the iron and leather harness, and set it next to the pile of wood. Then he laid next to it, and dozed off.
----
Fletcher woke up to the ear splitting cry of a dying animal. Sitting up quickly, he noticed the horse wasn't in the cave. Grabbing a piece of splintery wood, he got up to investigate.
By now it was sun set, and the forest was just dark enough for Fletcher to go outside without getting burnt. Not to far from the outside of the cave, a small dragon was clamped to the neck of the black horse. The horse was struggling to stay standing. With the rapid loss of blood, and weight of the dragon, he quickly collapsed.
Fletcher watched as the dragon ripped open the neck of the still breathing horse and ate him alive. The dragon was maybe 4.5 feet to the shoulder, and had a red body with dark blue spikes down his back, club at the base of his tail, wings, claws, and ears.
Fletcher turned his attention to the blood that pooled around the horse. He approached the corpse and the dragon, and pulled at the back legs. The dragon turned to him and snarled with a bloody snout. Fletcher hissed, and the dragon backed off.
Continuing to pull on the legs, he did so until he dragged the horse back into the cave. Fletcher sat down next to the corpse. He then sank his teeth into the shoulder of the horse and lapped up any blood that hadn't drained out yet.
