Jeff
These words mean nothing.
If that is the case,
Why am I writing them?
To avoid conversation,
Or to avoid my own thoughts.
It's just another sad attempt,
To make Jeff go away.
Jeff is my best friend,
Don't push him away dearest.
He's your only friend;
No one else wants you.
Broken down,
Suicidal,
Full of anxiety,
And most of all,
Sad...
Now He tries to help,
He asks her if this is another attention attempt.
"No this is still not an attempt, I swear",
She screams.
Poor little Jeff didn't fully understand,
She's broken,
Unfixable,
And stubborn.
Jeff tries to help.
He gets nowhere,
But she is fine.
She's just tired.
Here comes the question she fears,
"Are you ok?"
She breaks down and says,
"I was a young, happy, lady.
That was a long time ago.
I've changed."
Jeff looks into her eyes lovingly.
He understands all that she is going through.
He's also broken.
When he holds her tightly,
She feels all her worries go away.
He took away all her worries,
All her pain,
And all her sorrow.
He forgot it and he only saw her.
She is still happy.
Yes, she is happy.
Now this is the ever after we wanted.
