I wake up to light flooding my cell. "wake up girl" a man yelled.
it's almost time. I sigh. I stretch and slip on my black kimono. the same color as my hair.
I walk to my cell door. tonights the night I'm going to escape. I grab a wood shard from my bed.
the guards come. "it it's time for you to meet your new master." I nod.
I follow the gaurds and clench the wood shard iny hand. as soon as we are alone I place my hand on his shoulder.
it shocked him. its now or never. I take the wood shard and stab it into his neck. he just stood there for a minute.
enough time for me to grab a knife. he pushes me back and I take the knife out of its case.
I stab in the heart in Run. one of the other guards saw sounded the alarm. you can do it akimi. they start to shoot arrows at me.
1 hits my back. I run and make it to the edge of the woods. the guards come after me running with thier swords and bows drawn. an archer takes aim and shoots my lower leg.
I run to the edge of the woods to a cliff overlooking the river. another archer takes aim and hits my left arm.
I look at the gaurds and the river. I have no choice but to jump.
I land in the water. I'm struggle but the current was too strong. the last thing I see was his face before I passed out
