"Dear Lord Katelyn,
As you may know I, and the other elite Silverbirds have been fighting on the front lines for 8 months now. It truly has been rough out here. We are running low on supplies and have lost our captain, Abyss, he has been presumed dead but until a body or evidence proving that he is, the case has been considered M.I.A. but despite multiple negative setbacks there are a few things we do have to report. The scout lines lead by Sapfire and Kai have found a breach-able point in the Shadow Knights' defense. So we request back-up and a supply drop ASAP."
    With love,
                General Keiran.

As Keiran finishes the note, he sets the pen down on top the old, scratched up wooden desk, letting out a sorrowful sigh.

Lets just hope the lord retrieves this note quickly. Keiran mutters, looking up at the little star keeper as it looks back at him.

Sure thing boss! I will get that letter to lord katelyn lickidy-split! The star keeper chirps as he happily takes the note and hops out of the tent's small window.

Just be careful Hoshi. Keiran says solemnly as he watches him fly off into the ashy grey sky.

Only a moments after Hoshi's departure, Kai , one of the scouts mentioned within the letter, bursts into the tent gasping for air as he looks at Keiran worriedly yet excited.

G-general Keiran! Kai gasps w-we found Abyss. Keiran looks at Kai with shock at the news of his friend being found. Seconds after the news said, the werewolf is pulled into the tent.

Abyss?! Keiran after finally processing what was happening, he ran over to get a closer look at his wounded friend.

With a cough, he begins H-hey..Keiran...it appears that I have got beaten a bit... Abyss looks up at Keiran weakly,  blood slowly pooling on the rugged cotton tarp that he was laid on.

Keiran huffs in an aggressive manner. He stands up glancing at the Silverbirds that remained, huddling around him. LUCY, GET ABYSS AND TAKE HIM TO THE MEDICAL TENT!

O-oh, y-yes sir she stutters surprised with Kieran acting on such a way after a neat two-month disappearance of his friend.

GENE, SNOW, YOU TWO NEED TO STAND GUARD OVER ABYSS. MAKE SURE HE ISN'T ONE OF THEM! Keiran shouts, rushing over to the armor rack on the left sector of the Silverbirds' front line post, equipping his helmet and chest plate. The remaining Silverbirds were struck with shock, but stood firmly awaiting their orders.

Acelin, Kai, Leo, you three, come with me. And the rest of you lot, stay here and watch over April. Make sure she remains awake til' back-up arrives, or else the force field that's keeping our hides safe, will be gone! Keiran said assertively as he makes his way towards the border of the force field, followed by the three.

Yes sir! The still-standing, Silverbirds reply, running off to their post as told. Keiran looks back and he nods to the three, them doing the same, as they all place a small beetle-shaped devices behind their left ears before stepping out onto the black, charred ground that lie beyond their small,  protected base post.
