It's been two days since I've been under curfew. Richard wants me home right after school and when I get home it's up to my spot on the roof.

When I got the call from Lilly saying that Richard was there I got there as fast as I could. When I got there I stopped cold. Ryan, and Richard, were outside. Fighting. Fighting. I tried to stop it, which ended in me getting punched. By Richard. Again.

That pissed Ryan off. He pushed me out of the way and punched Richard as hard as he could which, I found amusing, broke his nose.

That was three days ago. Now I sit up on the roof looking out over the city. Richard let me keep my phone surprisingly. I told Rachael the whole thing, minus the me getting punched part. She was shocked. As always.

A knock on my door brings me out of my thoughts and I quickly crawl back into my room. I open the door and it's my mom. "Christina please come down stairs. Your father and I would like to speak to you."

"No." It looks like she wasn't expecting that answer.

"That wasn't an option Christina."

"I said no. Now get out of my room." Her face reddens at my words but she trots back down stairs. I sigh and close my door. I go back out to the window and climb back onto the roof. I look down to the ground and smirk.

I could find a way down there. I thought. I look to the tree in front of me and raise an eyebrow. "Here goes nothin'." I stand up and walk all the way back and run at the tree. Then I jump. I feel the impact and grab onto the branch. I smile and swing my legs up to right myself. I start climbing down when my foot slips. Oh shit. I fall all the way which to my surprise was longer than I thought.

I hit the ground with a thud, the impact knocks the wind out of me and I quickly gasp for air. I lay there for a solid thirty seconds before forcing myself to move. "Ow.." I stand myself up and walk a few steps before I nearly collapse. I managed to twist my ankle to, great. I forget my skateboard behind and hobble to the tattoo parlor.

When I arrive Ryan sees me before I see him. He runs out of the parlor and I feel him hug me tightly. "Oh my gods Chris. Are you okay?"

I smile and hug him back, despite having a sore back. "I'm okay." He let's go of me and let's me walk by when suddenly I collapse.

His eyes widen and he catches me before I hit the ground. "Chris??"

"I may have fell out of a tree." I smile sheepishly and let out a faint chuckle as I try my best to bear the pain.

He laughs and picks me up, cradling me in his arms like a baby. "Why were you in a tree?"

"I wanted to climb." We both laugh and he carries me inside. When Lilly catches sight of me she gasps. "Chris! Are you okay? What happened??"

"I'm fine. Just a twisted ankle." Ryan sets me down on the counter and props my leg up. He moved my foot around and I yelp in pain. "I don't think it's twisted, hun."

I look at him then at my swelling ankle. "It's broke?!"

"No, no. Not broke. Just sprained."

"Oh.." I giggle and they both look at me. "Hey Ryan?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I have that tattoo now?" We all laugh and he carries me to the curtained area. "Sure hun. Which one?"

I look at the pictures and show him the one I want.

"This one? You sure? It's gonna hurt a lot."

"I want this one."

"Okay."

An hour later I have probably 100 messages and missed calls from Richard and my mom. And my first tattoo. Ryan was right it hurt, a lot, but it looks good and I can hide it from the parents. "Thanks Ryan."

"Anytime hun." He smiles at me and I find that I'm smiling back. He looks me over with those grey eyes and I feel a blush creeping into my cheeks. He catches sight of my blush and smiles more.

"What?"

"Your blush is so cute."

I blush more and shake my head. "No its not."

"It is."

"Whatever." I giggle and bite my lip. He laughs and wraps my ankle. While he's wrapping it Lilly walks in. "Hey Chris?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you wanna stay at my house for a couple of days?"

The question surprises me. "Uh, yeah sure, thanks."

"No problem sweetie." She smiles and winks before walking out. I giggle and lay back. "Somebody's relaxed."

"Just happy that I'm not gonna go home."

"Ah, well, if she gets tired of you you're welcome to come stay with me." He finishes wrapping my ankle and pats my knee. I smile and close my eyes. I feel something run across my cheek and realize it's his hand. I blush slightly but don't move. That's when he kisses me. It wasn't a quick peck on the cheek. His mouth was pressed against mine and his hand was buried in my hair, deepening the kiss. I've been kissed before but not like this. He draws back and smirks.

"What was that?" I ask.

"Just a little something." He stands back up and walks out. I blush heavily, pondering about the kiss over and over again, wishing I could feel it again. It felt exhilarating yet calming in a sense. I hop off the chair the limp onto the main part of the parlor. Lilly raises an eyebrow but doesn't say anything.

"What?" I raise an eyebrow and eye Lilly, not realizing that my cheeks are still a shade of red.

"Did he just do what I think he did in there?" Lilly sounds a bit displeased behind her chuckle.

"He wrapped up my ankle, now it doesn't hurt so much." I smile wide as I hold up my foot. Lilly let's out another chuckle and shakes her head. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out keys to her '89 Dodge Challenger.

"Wanna go for a ride?" Lilly asks me with a sly smirk and a hint of dare devil in her voice.

"Hell yeah." I smirk and climb into the passenger seat.
