Ryden?

Chapter I

*Ryan's POV*

I lay in my bed, screaming, for about a minute. Once I stop I wait a while. I get up and walk downstairs. I see mom in the kitchen eating some oatmeal. Dan is in the bathroom, so that gives me the opportunity to talk about him. "I hate Dan!" I yell punching the kitchen table. "Why? You love him?" Mom questions. "He keeps reminding me of when he ruined my life! He keeps saying 'Ryden' wherever I am!" I explain. I make myself some oatmeal, and sit on the couch. "You know your brother? Always trying to annoy you?" She says coming over to me. "Yeah, but why?" I say inbetween bites. "Because he's a older brother! My older brother used to always annoy me." Mom explained to me.

I finished my oatmeal, and put my bowl in the sink. I hug my mom then go back upstairs. I hear Dan get out of the bathroom. I don't care. Until Dan runs up to me, grabbing my shoulder. He pulls my shoulder back, causing me to falls. "Ahhhh!" I scream. "Owww!" I yell getting up, and pushing Dan. "What did you say about me?" Dan says staring me in the eyes. "Boys calm down!" Mom yells coming over to us. "What's wrong?" She asks holding both our shoulders. "Dan attacked me!" Dan came charging at me, but mom stopped him.

I ran upstairs away from the craziness. I hear mom and Dan screaming at each other. Than I hear Dan slap mom! I come half way down the stairs, and see mom on the floor. "Ryan RUN!" She yells to me. Dan looks at me, and comes after me. I run upstairs, into my room. Right before he comes in, I slam the door in his face, and lock it. I steadily push my desk in front of the door. What's going on? Did Dan hear what I said? I thought to myself.

My phone rings. It's Aubrey. I answer watching the door. "Hi.............it's fine......it's not a good time to call......Dan's gone crazy" I suddenly hear Dan bang louder. "Ya......I do need some help.......bye!" So, Aubrey's coming over to help me.

Dan is still banging on my door. I hear him scream "LET ME IN!". "Why should I?" I answer. The banging stops. "What?!" I hear Dan yell. "Please stop! Why are you doing this?" I hear mom say. I start to cry. I don't know what's happening, or how it will end. I don't even know why it started.

*Dan's POV*

~~~when Dan comes out of the bathroom~~~

Why? After all I've done for Ryan! He says he hates me! I think. I decide to charge after him. I ran into Ryan, pulling his shoulder back. He falls beside me. "Ahhhh!" He screams. "Owww!" He screams again. "What did you say about me?" I ask. "Boys calm down!" Mom yells. She comes over to us. "What's wrong?" She asks. "Dan attacked me!" Ryan tattletaled. I went after Ryan again, but I felt mom push me away. Ryan ran upstairs.

Stop it!" She yells at me. "AFTER ALL I'VE DONE!" I yell back. "I only get an 'I hate you' out of it!" I imitate Ryan. "Stop it!" Mom yells again. I had enough 'stop it'. I slap her to the ground. Ryan came halfway down the stairs. I look him straight in the eyes. I chase after him, into his room. He slams the door right in my face. I bang on the door as hard as I can.

I then hear him talking to someone. I bang louder. When he's done I scream "LET ME IN!". "Why should I?" He answers. I stop banging when mom comes to me. "What?!" I ask. "Please stop! Why are you doing this!" She asks. I walk back downstairs. I take moms favorite salad dish. I bring it to her, and wave it around. She puts her hand on her mouth as I pretend drop it. "Gotcha!" I say jokingly. "Dan!" She yells. "What?!" I yell even though she's a foot away from me.

There is a knocking on the door. Mom goes to see who it is. "Oh, Aubrey! This isn't a good time!" Mom says. "Ryan told me to come over!" She says stomping in. Mom points to upstairs. She walks to the stairs, then I suddenly run in front of her, causing her to walk into me.

I push her away, and put my hand on her cheek. "You here for sweet Ryan?" I ask in a pouty voice. "Ya?" Aubrey says looking down. I lift her chin so that our eyes meet. "What's wrong?" I say tilting my head. Aubrey looks over to mom. I quickly turn her head back toward me. I give her a sad look. "I'll bring you up!" I say putting my hand over her shoulder. She keeps looking back at mom, but I keep walking. We get to Ryan's room. I open the door and push her in. "Here you go!" I say leaving the door open.
