He was different. It was the first thing that was on my mind when I looked at his eyes.

They all were, it was hard to believe that they were all 17 and it made me think of the life they have had up until this point.

His eyes though were what had me hooked and more curious. They were so emotionless, they were different to the eyes I was used to looking at and seeing this life in them. Now, he was just a cold gang leader.

What made them be within this lifestyle? Why was Travis here alone running a gang with these boys? Where are their parents? It made all these questions keep coming and I wanted to know all the answers. I wanted to know why these amazing people who I have come to be close with are in such a lifestyle and without any adult guidance from the looks of it.

I had my father, I mean I wasn't actually very included in this lifestyle it was mainly my brothers but, even them, they had our father to guide and help them. Whilst it was probably not the most ideal situation for his children it was the lifestyle that was carried down generations.

I stood in the shadows with my head down the whole meeting. My dad and Travis went over how everything was going between the two gangs and that when the boys finish school they are to be off my dads territory.

The moment it was over I was the first one out of there and in the car waiting for my dad and Luke. As soon as they were in the car we were off and all I could hope for was the boys to be safe. They are so young. Whilst I'm also young I have my father for guidance and all my brothers who looks out for me. It makes me wonder who they have or if they only have each other.

That night I laid awake in my bed just thinking about how such excitable and sarcastic people who I am slowly becoming to love. I want to know more. I want to know where their parents are. I want to know they are being safe.

The meeting from last night has been on my mind the whole night. The questions just didn't go away. I was constantly wondering if they were safe. Did they make it home okay last night? Did they all get to their own beds okay? I didn't get a wink of sleep with the constant noise in my head. I got up and had a quick cold shower to try and wake myself up a little bit more.

Taking a deep breath and closing my eyes I gave myself a moment to clear out my mind before getting out of the cold shower and wrapped a towel around myself. Walking into my wardrobe I looked at my clothes trying to decide what I wanted to wear. Finally deciding on some high waisted black ripped jeans, a graphic tee and some white sneakers I walked downstairs.

Slowly walking into the kitchen yawning and not making a ruckus which immediately cause concern for my rambunctious family. I mean hello, I didn't do my grand entrance of course it is cause for concern.

"What is wrong baby girl?" My father was the first one to question my behaviour and why I was not my normal self.

"I'm completely fine dad, I'm just tired. I didn't sleep very well." I mumbled whilst giving him a kiss on the cheek. Grabbing myself a plate of bacon and a glass of coffee I took a seat at the table.

Slowly but surely I finished my food whilst I was listening to my brothers chatter away about girls. Yuck. Why would they want to even touch these icky girls they are mentioning. I'm definitely going to need more than one coffee to get me through this day.

"Sky, you ready to go?" Will asked? I just nodded and popped my dirty dishes into the sink.

Grabbing my keys I skipped next to my brothers and looped their arms with my own. I love my brothers so much, I have no idea what I would do without them. Unlocking my car, I got in and turned up my radio whilst I raced down the driveway with my brothers following behind me. Making a quick detour I stopped at Starbucks and got myself an iced latte with a double shot of espresso.
