Lizzy's friend (Ciel x reader)

Chapter 17

I'm so so sorry I haven't been updating but this chapter is going to be longer to make up for it.

"It's been a while since I've had to come back here." You said as you finally got home. "Damien could you draw me a bath?"
"Yes young mistress." Damien said as he walked upstairs to the bathroom.
You went to the kitchen and grabbed an apple because all the servants were asleep. As you finished your apple Damien come in signaling your bath was ready. You always liked doing things yourself so you had some privacy. Other lords didn't like being alone it usually reminds them of their dark memories and choices. You liked being alone with your thoughts even though most of them where dark or depressing. After you got out of the bath you went to bed.

"Why do I always screw things up?" Ciel mumbled pacing in his study.
"I don't know young master. Why don't you try getting some rest to clear your head?" Sebastian said trying to calm his master down
"What ever. I don't feel like sleeping." Ciel said as he continued to pace around
"Maybe some tea would help? Should I make you some?" Sebastian said cheerfully
"Do as you like I don't care anymore, I just want her back."
"Yes young master."

Sebastian, determined to make his young master happy again, made the tea and snuck out. Damien doesn't really guard the manor the way he sees it if someone gets in he can deal with it then. Sebastian snuck in extremely easily and was stealthy enough for Damien not to notice. He went upstairs and grabbed you covering your mouth so you wouldn't scream. He pulled a rag out of his pocket and put it over your mouth knocking you unconscious.

When you came to, you opened your eyes seeing you where strapped to a bed. You could hear voices outside, one you could recognize anywhere.
"SEBASTIAN WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? UNTIE HER NOW!" Ciel screamed infuriated
"I was only trying to make you happy." Sebastian said calmly as always.
"Fine I'll do it myself." Ciel said coming through the door. He untied everything and apologized. He sat down at the end of the bed and looked defeated. You got up and sat beside him.
"I don't know what to do anymore." He said looking down "I love you, but I'm supposed to be with Lizzy."
"Says who? No one in your family is even alive to know."
"I know but I don't want to dishonor the family name."
"How is it dishonorable to marry the one you love? I think it's worse to marry your family." You said making him face you. "Do what you please no one controls you....except the queen, but she could care less who you're with."
"You're right." He said looking up "I have to go talk to Elizabeth."

Elizabeth was still upset about what had happened before so she was as happy as she normally would have been to see Ciel. She smiled anyways as they sit down to talk.
"Okay Lizzy I need to explain something to you." Ciel said giving her direct eye contact "I know you love me and I love you too, but only as family. I love (Y/n) as a lover. She means everything to me. It's not natural to be with family. If we where to have a child together it wouldn't be normal. It would have so many problems and would be unfit to carry on the Phantomhive name." Tears rolled down Lizzy's face but she finally understood. She never did love Ciel in that way. She just thought she had because that's what she'd been told her whole life. She wasn't meant to be with Ciel she was forced to be with him. She hugged him letting him know she understood and he hugged her back.

On his way back to the manor he stopped at the best jeweler in town. He found a blue diamond ring that he considered the best in the world. It was called the hope diamond and it was the  same shade as his ring. He returned to the manor and hid it in his coat. He planned on it being a surprise.
"Finny, where is (y/n)?" Ciel asked as he and Sebastian walked in.
"She's in the green house young master. Just like you asked."
"Good." Ciel said as he walked to the green house. You where talking to Snake when you seen Ciel walk in.
"Snake you are dismissed for the time being." Ciel said walking towards you.
"Why are there petals on the floor." You asked looking at the rose petals surrounding you.
"Because," he said getting on one knee "I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you." He pulled the ring box out of his coat and opened it. "Will you marry me."
You felt like crying but you pulled yourself together and got on your knees. You look him in the eyes and grab his face.
"Do you really need me to answer?" You said as you pulled his face towards yours and kissed him long and passionately.
"I love you Ciel."

This is probably the end tbh I kinda got bored with it which is why I wasn't updating much but I guess if you want another chapter I could make an exception. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask I will gladly answer.
