chapter 4.

-Alyssa POV- 

Waking up from the most horrible dream, I seen it all happen again, the room, the bed, the person laying there fighting and fighting to keep their life, to continue living, but just like that it ended. I screamed and rose from the bed salting tears cascading down my face. My mum came running into my room.
"Honey whats wrong, I heard the scream" She asked in a worrying tone.
"Just the dream again mum, It won't leave my mind"
"It will be okay sweetie, I promise"
She kissed my forehead and walked out of my room leaving me to get ready for school. Oh how I was not ready for school, I grabbed my towel and walked into my bathroom turning on the shower and hopping in, obviously after stripping out of my clothes, (DUH! ahahaha) I let the hot dropplets of water cascade down my back, I washed my body and my hair and hopped out. 
Best. Shower. Ever. I thought to myself.

I walked into my bedroom and picked out a pair of ripped jeans and a maroon shirt that hung off one shoulder, slipping them on. I looked around my room trying to find my black converse, finally spotting them i put them on tieing the laces. I walk over to my desk grab my laptop and place it in my bag, grabbing my phone slipping it into my pocket and walking downstairs. I decide to skip breakfast and walk straight outside. To my suprise Jake is waiting outside for me.
"Are you going to walk me to school today?" I coo,
"what sort of bestfriend would I be if i didnt?" He replied with a slight smirk.
"Oh why thank you fine sir" I put on a fake british accent to say that, he just laughs and me and grabs my hand pulling me down the driveway. 

I could feel the sparks as he grabbed my hand, I wonder if he felt them too? Probably not, I'm just a friend to him. I think to myself and sigh.
"Whats wrong Lyssa?" He looks genuinly worried, i just shrug it off and continue walking. It's not long before we arrive at school. We decide to go our separate ways after exchanging goodbyes, I walk off towards Katie, who is obviously with her boyfriend, Jayden. ugh i hate him with a very big passion! I curse at him under my breath.
"Hey Alyssa!" Katie screaches at me in an excited tone.
why is she so happy today, ugh happy people. I think to myself. Shut up brain.
"Oh, hey Katie" I force a smile onto my face.
"How was the walk to school with Jakeeeeee?" She extends his name in a weird tone.
"Okay you're acting weird, why are you acting weird?"
"Uh, no reason go to go byeee!" And with that she runs off.

She definitely is a weird girl, but i guess thats why we're bestfriends.
