A Poem Of Fanciful Dreams

Part I

The sleeping boy awoke to a scene,
He has never seen in his life before
A landscape full of acres of woods.
It seemed as if it were
beautiful to its core.

He lay there a-wondering,
How came he there.,
Away from all men's gatherings.
When he was startled to see
A grinning musketeer.

"Come hither O adventurous boy.
Long have we been waiting for thee.
Searching for you e'en among wheat and rye.
Won't you with me?"

I followed her through woods so thick
And jumped many a gurgling brooks
And met a goblin friend named Rick
I thought all this bewildering
And weird enough for a story book.

"Ah! Here we are" cried the musketeer with happiness.
"The city of gems and gold"
The sight was welcome after the wilderness
Of a kingdom made entirely
Of wealth as told.
