Babe, will you make it tonight?
-Sehun
No, I’m sorry.
-Lu Han
It’s fine, I understand. I love you.
-Sehun
Me too.
-Lu Han
Sehun stared at the food served on the dining table. He knows how Lu Han won’t be able to make it on time tonight but he was too dumb to actually believe what he had said.
Life has gotten hard for Sehun – his studies were getting harder, his parents were suddenly getting a divorce, but he faced those two well with Lu Han.
But right now, it’s getting harder.
Lu Han rarely comes home, he rarely talks to Sehun anymore.
They’re so close yet so far.
Even if it was a minute walk from their shared apartment to where Lu Han spend most of his hours per day, he still feels as if there’s something separating them apart.
It doesn’t feel right anymore.
The spark was no longer felt by the both of them. The magnetic force that has been pulling them is going weaker and weaker.
Sehun knows how much he still loves Lu Han. Heck, it has been two years since they first met!
He knew too much about Lu Han and so he does otherwise.
They did everything together.
They make memories together.
All the nights that they spend in each other’s arms… Is Lu Han going to turn it into a waste?
Sehun can’t take it anymore.
Throwing his jacket on, he walked out of the apartment straight ahead to Lu Han’s office two blocks away.
He has been craving for Lu Han and it’s making him want to burst out.
Sehun ran up the stairs using all his might and knocked on the door where there’s a gold sign with the name ‘Lu Han’ craved on it.
“Lu Han, open the door.”
Sehun waited for almost a minute before he simply opens the door by himself, only to find Lu Han leaning a girl against a wall, his lips froze on her neck.
“God, are you kidding me?” Sehun said, loud and clear and both their attention was on him.
Lu Han immediately let go of the girl, putting his hands up in the air.
“It’s not what you think,” he defended himself.
“Well, of course it’s not what I think. I freaking saw you with my eyes!” Lu Han stepped forward and Sehun stepped back.
Tears were threatening to fall any minute soon and when Lu Han’s finger lay on his skin, Sehun couldn’t hold it up anymore.
“And to think that I actually planned on proposing you on our anniversary next week, this is what I get.” Sehun held his tears back.
“No! It’s not what you think. You’re in danger and I have to protect you.” His hand landed on Sehun’s shoulder and he shrugged them off.
“What bullshit are you trying to tell me? If you think by shoving your cock into someone else when you’re with me is what you call protecting me, then you could just fuck off!”
And right then, Sehun ran out of his office room, storming down the stairs with his blurry eyes.
“Sehun!”
He ignored the calls. He ignored Lu Han.
He wanted Lu Han to understand how it feels like to get ignored.
He wanted him to feel pain as well.
The sound of a gun-shot was heard and Lu Han’s voice had no longer reached his ears.
Sehun turned back as he witnessed his lover fell to the ground, blood gushing from his chest and his mouth.
“Lu Han!”
At that time, nothing went into Sehun. He couldn’t hear the beeps of the car, the sound of people screaming at the sight… He just ran to be there with Lu Han for probably the last time.
“I h-had to protect you.” Sehun kneeled down, his palm placed on Lu Han’s pale cheek.
“Don’t go. You’ll survive! Look at me, Lu Han!” Lu Han’s eyes started to close and Sehun screamed more. “Lu Han, fucking look at me!”
Sehun started to sob and pulled Lu Han into his arms.
“No, no, no. Don’t go!”
Lu Han forced his arm up to caress his lover’s cheek, “I love you.”
“I love you too. I love you too. Don’t leave, please don’t.” Sehun begged as his life was depending on Lu Han and he literally was.
“P-polaroid.” Was the last thing Lu Han said before he left Sehun.
