"It's ridiculous how delirious people are these days." You mutter before stuffing another potato chip in your mouth.

"I know, right? Several years later, people don't even know!" Dib snatches your bag and steals a handful of chips.

"Are you still trying to expose the poor guy? And give me my chips back!"

Dib sheepishly gives you the bag, then to continue on his rant about Zim. "You're the only one who believes me!"

"Believe you? I knew Zim was an alien the first time I saw him."

Dib shakes his head. "One of these days he's going to take over the world."

"No, he's not. He never will. It's been years since he first arrived to earth. And so far, he's done nothing." You say as you shovel a few more chips in your mouth.

"Oh come on, Y/N! You've got to help me convince everyone."

"Nope, won't happen."

Dib mutters under his breath and storms out of the living room of his home.

--

Time went by quickly. Now, everyone's in highschool. As for Zim, he hardly changed.

However, he drastically got taller. Probably Dib's work. He's gotten quieter over the years, but still mumbles under his breath about how he's going to take over the world from time to time.

Perhaps you'll try and befriend Zim. Maybe show him how to be a human - partially to blend in more.

--

You twirled a pencil between your fingers before the sound of the bell ringing startled you. Recovering from the shock, you slung your bag over your shoulder and escaped the madness of the school halls.

Outside, you could here Dib and Zim bickering as usual. You mutter something under your breath and sprint home to get away from their skirmishes. Oh, how much Dib pulled you into his alien madness annoyed the hell out of you.

--

Boom!

A loud explosion shook you out of your nest of blankets. You swear and mutter, "Probably them to. Now what are they up to?"

You noticed that this explosion was much louder than normal, if there even is a normal. You sprang up from your bed to check things out.

Now, here's the thing. You never thought that the alien was weird. Never. That "skin condition" of his? Nada. You don't care. You never liked Dib when he messes with Zim. You would do whatever is in your power to stop him. Perhaps you have a.. knack for the Invader.

Outside, Dib was in one of his rocket airship things up in the air. You balled a fist at him and ran off towards a stream of smoke rising up from the ground nearby.

In the center of a clearing was the poor Invader with burns all over him and rips in his strange outfit. You shouted about how terrible Dib is in your mind, and approached Zim with caution.

Zim was pretty much out cold at the point. "What did Dib do this time?" You asked yourself. You scooped him up in your arms, wavering a bit from how tall he got.

"I'd better not drop him.." You gritted your teeth and stepped over metal parts scattered across the ground, being careful not to trip. In only a few minutes, since your home was nearby, you were in your living room. You dropped the unconscious Zim on your couch and flopped in a chair beside him. You observed him for a few moments, wondering what you should do to aid him.

--

Several hours later, Zim stirred. You had fallen asleep on that chair, then to finally wake up sensing the movement. Zim cracked an eye open and looked up at you with a mixture of emotions. He said nothing.

"O-oh. Hi. You're uh.. you're awake." You stutter from the surprise. "Dib knocked you out somehow, so I brought you here."

Zim blinks at you.

"Oh? What is this? What a decent surprise.."

"You would of been killed." You mutter.

"Shush, hyooman." Zim sits up and examines his surroundings.

"It's Y/N."

"Right, right. Y/N."

"You look ah... hurt. Just a bit."

Zim puts a hand on his side, then to lift it back up. "Ouch."

"Yeah, ouch. Now, do you need some help?" You narrow your eyes.

"Yes, actually." Zim stands up, clenching his teeth in pain. "Y/N, hyooman being, I need GIR."

"Uh, who?"

"Oh yes, that green dog of mine."

You stand up as well and stride over to a window overlooking the road. "Is that the green dog you're looking for?" You hold the curtains open so he can see.

"GIR! Get over here!" Zim shouts through the window. The green dog salutes and shrieks in a high pitched voice. "Yes sir!"

You hold your ears and push the door open with your foot.

GIR struts inside and strips the green fur off of him to expose metal parts. You raise a brow. "Oh. A robot. Nice."

Zim clears his throat. "Gir, this is my partner, Y/N. She is an anti-human. I have determined this since she has saved my life."

"Helloo~" GIR chirps and hops out of site.

"Your.. partner?"

"Yes, Y/N. My partner. As I can quite frankly trust you, and as you despise Dib's plan to kill me, you shall come up with doom alongside me." Zim crosses his arms behind his back and straightens.

"So I assume that you know that I know you're and alien.

"Yes! Now then, to discuss doom!"
