Michio Nao's POV  (Zandralia)

I ran out of my home looking up into the smoky sky, "Run! Hurry! Get out!" I heard a guard yell. I ran over to the tall guard shooing people away. "What on earth is going on?" I asked him. "We are being attacked; get out of the kingdom now!" He ordered me. "Stop yelling at people and fight! Yelling won't do anything, just kill the attackers!" I yelled back. He ignored me and continued to yell at people as they ran past us. If he won't do anything then I'll do something! I ran towards the smoke coughing as I inhaled some. Smoke was everywhere and fire lit up everything around me. I stood in the middle of the kingdom surrounded by the fire. Homes were burning down and people's screams were all I could hear.

"Help!" I heard a voice cry out. I ran towards the sound of the cry. "Please help me!" A woman said to me reaching out her hand. "My children ran off and I don't know where they went, I yelled for them but they must have gone too far to hear me!" The woman whined, "They ran off with their best friend and the three of them are out there somewhere." She cried out. I looked around. "What do they look like?" I asked. The woman coughed and let out a sigh, "Their names are Meli and Milo, their friend is Haruki...Haruki is a samurai and I don't doubt that she is trying to save people and fight but I know she can't fight them forever." The woman whined. I nodded as I reached out my hand to help her out from under the wood. She grabbed my hand and pulled herself up. "Get out of the Kingdom and I'll find the three kids." I said, she nodded and ran out.

Haruki...I hope you're okay...

I knew Haruki from when I was little. I had to move to another side of the kingdom and never got to see her anymore.

Milo Akiryo's POV (Zandralia)

"Milo, wait!" Meli yelled, "No! We need to get out now!" I yelled back to her. Haruki grabbed Meli and followed behind me as we ran out of the kingdom into the forest. We kept running and did not stop till we could barely see the Kingdom. I stopped running and Looked behind me watching Meli and Haruki catch up with me.

Meli wiped a tear from her eye, she glanced back at the kingdom. "Why did this happen?" She asked me. "How could I know?" I asked her, "No one knows why they attacked..." Haruki added on. Haruki sat on the ground, "I think we are far enough away from the fire but it might catch up to us, we need to be ready to run just in case." Haruki said. Meli sat down and I did too. Haruki sighed and hugged Meli as she started to cry harder. Meli hugged her back crying more and more. I frowned, watching her cry was so heart breaking. "I want to go back home!" Meli whined as more tears spilled out of her small eyes. "Me too, but it's not home anymore. We have to accept this and move on, Meli." Haruki said gently. "Where will we go...?" Meli asked sobbing. I did not have an answer so I stayed quite, Haruki could not answer either. Meli pulled away and turned her back to us looking into the distance blankly as tears continued to fall. Haruki looked at me, she also had tears in her eyes. I could feel my eyes burning with tears threatening to spill out. One tear fell and then another, soon we were all crying. It felt weird to cry, I hated to cry, I never cried until now, I just couldn't stop the tears from falling out of my eyes. I never knew what loss felt like until now. I hated the felling almost as much as I hated the Restrians.
